| Introduction | I grew up in Iowa and am a Hawkeye at heart; I like to feel connected to Iowa, as my folks and sister and her family are still there. I can't let go of the FOUR full seasons. I have been a secondary English teacher in Alaska for nearly twelve years at Chugiak High School, in Chugiak, Alaska. I wear a lot of hats and like to remember that I can put old ones back on that I have forgotten. |

| Favorite books | I read non-fiction, when I read for my own enjoyment. I do delve into fiction a little. I enjoy Barbara Kingsolver, Barry Lopez, Pam Houston, Tom Robbins, Oliver Sacks, Khaled Hosseini, Mark Twain. |

The hair from my last haircut would tell all that I was moderately risky and not concerned with temporary change.
