| Introduction | My name is Gil Gatch. It’s a weird name, yes I know. My high school teachers and college professors always told me that ‘the Gil Gatch band’ would be a great name for a musical group (I always disagreed). You can call me Gil. Many of my music students call me Mr. Gil. If you feel up to it you can try Gilferd, Gilateen, Gilgamesh, Gilligan; anything you like is fine. I can’t stop listening Imogen Heap’s new CD with ‘First Train Home’ put on repeat. My favorite food is fruit. I could eat fruit and fruit only for the rest of my life… especially mangoes, figs, kiwis, bananas, pineapple, pears, and apples. Coffee is an everyday, every meal event for me. As far as me goes (overview style), I want the world to know the LOVE of Jesus. Not just to know 'OF' it. But to know 'IT'. There is nothing like His love. It's always hoping for us and believing in us, and rooting for us, and waiting on us, and taking up for us, and fighting for us and looking for us to come home to Him. To describe me is me wanting to say that I want Jesus to be famous. He saved my life. I was almost too far gone. But He reached down and saved my life, a life that didn't deserve to be saved at all. Oh how he LOVES us! |
