| Introduction | I had wanted to be a vet since I was a child. Being that it is so notoriously difficult to get into vet school and also very expensive, I wound up in nursing school. I graduated with a BSN in nursing and worked in the field for a few years before the stress of it caused health problems. I left nursing and did some odd jobs, tried getting into pet care but was always met with "why do you want to do this when you have a nursing degree?" I started working at a boarding kennel in 1998 and then started my own pet sitting business 2007.As of September 20, 2010 I am full time at my own business--Catlover Pet Sitting. Phone # 401-651-1510 I do pet sitting in people's homes and also offer limited overnight boarding in my home. My specialty is special need pets with chronic health conditions or disabilities and elderly pets. I am Red Cross certified in Pet First Aid and CPR and insured through Pet Sitters Associates. |
