Introduction | I'm a writer and editor, gardener, cook, teacher, racquetball player and curious life observer. I enjoy writing articles and short stories, both of which have won awards, and was thankful for the opportunity to write a book, Yes! I Am Catholic, published in 2007. I also contributed to A Cup of Comfort for Breast Cancer Survivors and Heartland Plays published my collection one-act plays, Mothers, Daughters and the Spaces in Between. I work for Berea College Partners for Education and live in a quiet Kentucky town where I garden, cook, teach and work to make peaceful and positive contributions to the world. |

When your science teacher smashed a frozen rose with a hammer, did you warm the petals to bring them back to life?
No, but I might have shed a tear.
