| Introduction | My name is Jill Flor and I am a mum of two. In 2008 I completed a certificate III in Headwear/Millinery at TAFE Queensland. I love creating something different with beautiful materials. Whether it be a stand out flower or brooch that I've found or an unusual felt or straw, I can't stop looking and playing until my inspiration becomes a creation! All my hats are hand blocked or shaped, hand sewn where possible and machine sewn where needed. I think hand sewing gives a much neater finish than machine sewing on headbands and edges etc. But that's just my opinion! You will just get the benefit in the completed product! I don't believe in selling workmanship I wouldn't be proud to wear.
