IntroductionDavid is a recognized national expert on the topic of neighboring and how it can improve communities and individuals. He puts those practices in to action in his own neighborhood and with his church. He is the creator of Missouri Good Neighbor Week, which was named the neighboring program of the year (2023) in the United States by Neighborhoods USA. His engaged neighbor program was also named the outstanding University of Missouri Extension program in 2023. Born and raised in Ash Grove, Mo., David is proud to call the Ozarks home. His degrees include: master's degree in integrated marketing and communication, Drury University (2001) and a bachelor’s degree in political science and journalism, Drury University (1988). Professionally, David is a community development specialist for University of Missouri Extension and is headquartered in Springfield, Mo.
