IntroductionI started this blog with a metaphor in mind/body. I'm from up north, but haven't lived there since college. Based largely on childhood fantasy, I decided to learn French, move to France and marry a Frenchman, which I did. Then I imported my Frenchman back to the US for grad school. Now here I am with a dissertation to write and I'm starting a blog. I turned 30 in the middle of the first year of school and shortly thereafter, my body fell to pieces: scoliosis, joint hyper-laxity, flat feet, etc. If there is a god, my physical therapist was a gift from her. Over the last several years, he has helped put me back together - several times.
InterestsPeople watching, rapid-fire interrogation, Fab, annoying Fab, gardening, taking a ridiculous number of pictures of my cats, Pilates, Zumba, walking, physical therapy, anything and everything French and Francophone, my correspondence, pretending I'm retired when I should be writing my dissertation...
