|Introduction||I am a 28 year old Cystic Fibrosis (CF) sufferer who is currently waiting for a double lung transplant. I’m determined to keep fighting and stay hopeful! The aim of this blog is to perhaps raise awareness of CF and also of life living on ‘the list’. I am a primary school teacher and taught for 2 and a half (ish) years before I had to be dragged away kicking and screaming to concentrate on keeping myself as healthy as possible, so that should a pair of lungs become available, I will be fit enough to undergo the transplant. Before that I trained and obtained by teaching degree at the University of Winchester where I had, undoubtedly, the best time of my life! I am also a Christian and I hope here to also describe how my faith influences the way I deal with my experiences. I live with my gorgeous husband and our pet cat in the countryside. My Mum and Dad and brother live in the next village. During this trying time I have really learned how important friends and family are and I don’t think I could get through this without them!|
