| Favorite Movies | I'm a bit of a film fanatic (O.k. more than a bit). I'm a critical viewer, loving films for creativity, good acting, cinematography, script writing, art direction, musical score, and developed plots with powerful themes. I do fall in love with the occasional "brain dead" film if it's fun enough, but I look for a lot in films. I love to watch foreign films to see what ideas are coming from our friends abroad. I also look for films created by certain directors because I feel that they are the driving force by which a film recieves its message and quality. My favorites are Kurosawa, Shyamalan, Nolan, Zwick, and Hitchcock. Having said all of this it may suprise many to find out that my favorite film of all time is "Batman Begins". |
| Favorite Music | I have eclectic taste in music. I love underground Christian hip hop and some worship music. I also like classic rock and I am passionate about jazz, especially Thelonius Monk and Miles Davis. |
| Favorite Books | I read like crazy. I love Systematic Theology by Wayne Grudem, and anything by James Sire, J.P. Moreland, John Piper, and C.S. Lewis. I also love Ernest Hemingway, and I have a passion for history and philosophy. |
