| Introduction | I'm a constant college student; if I could be paid for taking classes I love-like literature or history-I'd have it made. I have three daughters and am a single mother; the oldest has been bipolar since age twelve, and her condition has been my greatest life challenge, has altered me, stressed me, and burned me out at some points. My greatest, most fervant wish is for her to become stable. My middle daughter attends Roosevelt University in Chicago as a freshman, and my youngest is preparing to be a freshman in high school-I'm so old! She's a dancer, a cheerleader, and a quirky character. Being a mother is my most important life career. Secondly comes writing, the avenue of my sanity. I was once in the army, on the bomb squad, which means I can blow stuff up! I also play the drums, have since I was a sixth grader waaay back when *grabbing my cane* I'm working at building a career as a full time writer, a sometimes tedious, thankless endeavor, but one acceptance out of a hundred makes the entire process worth it. I'm a pragmatic dreamer and I love to blog. :) |
