Introduction	Bob Wood has worked with youth, people with low incomes and those experiencing homelessness. I've always been interested in sports - particularly what we used to call "amateur sports." I've coached - mostly track, but also softball and soccer - competed in running events on the track, road and cross country and in more forties starting playing handball - badly. Mostly I watch and read about sports appreciating the efforts of participants in the less well known events and becoming more and more irritated with those pampered overpaid professionals.
