| Introduction | Monkey Punch III will present ‘Carnivore Herbivore’, a brand new series of hand-tinted prints, inspired by living in Japan. Hints of Manga fuse with references to the Japanese woman as a ‘Carnivore’, and her male counterpart as a ‘Herbivore’, in an explosion of colour and graphics. With a Masters in Communication Design from Central St Martins, four years in Japan working for Paul Smith Ltd, 2K by Gingham, Beams-t and Tokito in PR, merchandising, as an illustrator and later as a design consultant his first exhibition was in Shibuya, the second Aoyama Tokyo Japan. Monkey Punch III, inspired by the likes of Japans greatest collage artist Shinro Ohtake, has grabbed collage art by the short and curlies and put a sexy punch back into collage art. Opera Quarter Bar Art Curators Lee Johnson and Bakul Patki aka ‘Watch This Space ( www.watch-this-space.org) will be using the space to exhibit work from a selection of exciting contemporary Artists.
