About me

Occupation Student
Introduction Emily Freeman is in her third year at Mount Holyoke College. Emily is a Critical Social Thought major focusing on political legitimacy in the Middle East and an economics minor. This is her third year as a member of the Model United Nations team; her first year she ran a crisis for the Afghani Cabinet during MUN’s annual conference, her second year she directed crises for every committee, and this year she is Chair of the entire team. She was born in Cairo, Egypt, and has lived in Malaysia, Japan, the United Arab Emirates and, most recently, Qatar. She has also lived in Florida and Colorado where she graduated from Fairview High School. Her plans for life after college include continuing her studies of Arab political systems and, hopefully, working on education policy or teaching abroad.
