Introduction	Our wonderful group "Lightning Creators" came from an advert in a local paper for patchwork classes in 2001, by Michelle Harman.( to whom we are forever grateful). A varied group of ladies attended these classes and enjoyed patchwork so much Lightning Creators was formed.Named Lightning Creators after our home town Lightning Ridge, an opal mining town situated in far west NSW. Monthly meetings at each members home followed, a mutual love of Creating, Patchwork, Friendship, Sharing and Laughter brought us together. Our group has grown, as has the feeling of sisterhood shared by all in this wonderful group. We have made quilts for breast cancer. children with cancer, are in the process of making one for our local hospital. We have made friendship blocks, friendship quilts, gift exchanges and so much more.
