Model Magic \u003c/span\u003eCrayola did not send me this one to review in the box, but it is my favorite item for any age. \u0026nbsp;I have used this with two to eight year old kids. \u0026nbsp;I have the basic colors from the class pack; red, blue, white and yellow.\u0026nbsp;The kids learn how to mix colors to make the ones they want.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;Model magic encourages creativity in the kids. Even with instructions of what to make, all the kids creations come out unique. \u0026nbsp;Model magic is also really good for developing fine motor skills in younger children. \u0026nbsp;The younger kids were better at mixing the colors then the older kids because they loved pressing it together. \u0026nbsp;I much prefer model magic any day over other brands. \u0026nbsp;Model magic is less flaky meaning none of it gets in my carpet and other areas of my house. \u0026nbsp;Model magic can be used in almost any lesson. \u0026nbsp;We used it make dinosaur and insect fossils, to make cars and boats and to make presents for our family. \u0026nbsp;One kid even made a bomb out of it. \u0026nbsp;After it is done being used it can be sealed up to use again or left out to harden. \u0026nbsp;If it is getting a little dry water helps make it more pliable. \u0026nbsp;It does leave a residue when it gets wet, but is easily washed away. For all these reasons Model Magic made it to number one on my list.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nTeachers also love model magic. \u0026nbsp;\u003ca href\u003d\"https://www.suppliesbyteachers.com/\" rel\u003d\"nofollow\" target\u003d\"_blank\"\u003eSonja Vaughan\u003c/a\u003e a first grade teacher says, \u0026nbsp;\"I like the modeling clay because its easy for kids to use, doesn't leave a big mess after and its easy to cut/divide. Sounds weird but when you having to split it up quickly having it already split into 4 parts makes a huge difference. Washable crayons are a little more expensive than regular crayons, but so worth it. They wash away like magic. \u0026nbsp;I have spent hours scrubbing regular crayons out of the wall, counters, surfaces everywhere and it is not fun I tell you. \u0026nbsp;I have drawn with these crayons on a surface and they come out so much better. \u0026nbsp;Their color is also brighter than regular crayons. Colored pencils can be used filling in, shading or crosshatching. \u0026nbsp;The pressure on the pencil also produces a different result. Fine tip markers are some of my favorite markers to use for every day items, such as lists also. \u0026nbsp;There was a phase in college where I used fine tipped markers for everything.\u0026nbsp;Doodle Scents is a marker sent that was elusive to me last year. \u0026nbsp;Last year Crayola only sold the individual markers in the US and not the 18 count box. \u0026nbsp;I bought two of all the individual markers and a box of them when they came out. \u0026nbsp;I was so excited to find they were being sold in the US this year and for a reasonable price. \u0026nbsp;Except when I found out that Canada has a 25 count box. \u0026nbsp;Now I want to find that one. \u0026nbsp;Then I will have four copies of some of the markers. For example the Fabric markers have to be store on their side. \u0026nbsp;The patent references aluminum particles embedded to make the metallic effect.
