Lettering with the Karin markers was much easier. Pigment molecules are much larger than dye based molecules and need to be shaken to make sure the pigment is evenly spread. Pigment has the advantage of being more lightfast than dye. Each marker contains ml of dye and have a durable flexible nylon tip. What does it compare to? There are names for the S-Notes. I found them by going on Sharpie.com and clicking on all the S-Note colors. I was able to match up all the names and now there is a chart here for reference. The Mildliner has two tips, the Sharpie S-Note has one, but honestly this was not a deal breaker for me because both are chisel tip and it is super easy to write thin lines by turning the marker point.
