a revisiting old favorites post every other month or so, and I didn't realize that it's already been four months since my first post of this series. I'm really enjoying looking back at my old favorite posts and observing what products I still own, use and love, and what products I no longer enjoy and got rid of. Today I'm sharing a few more items I fell out of love with, so if you're interested, let's go ahead and revisit some of my old favorites!

Glossier - Haloscope Highlighter in Quartz
This might not come as a surprise to you but since I shared the Glossier Haloscope highlighter in Quartz back in October 2017, it has been hands down my favorite highlighter since. It is my most used cream highlighter and never fails to give my skin a hydrated natural glow. Quartz is one of three shades in the Glossier cream highlighter selection and my favorite shade. When using this I swirl my ring finger directly on the product and then pat it to the tops of my cheeks, bridge of my nose, and cupids bow. I fall in love with this highlighter more and more with each use. I can't express enough how stunning it looks of the skin due to the hydrating balm in the center of the stick. It makes my skin look so juicy and radiant. Also a little goes a long way. If you've been on the fence about trying a cream highlighter definitely give this one a try. I find it to be one of the best I've tried compared to a few others. If I had to choose five of my favorite Glossier products, this would without a doubt be included. Which reminds me, maybe I should do an updated top five Glossier picks?

Maybelline - Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation
Going way back to March 2016 when I shared the Fit Me matte + poreless foundation. In all honesty, I hardly remember much about this foundation. In my March favorites post where I featured this, I raved about how much I had been liking it because it kept my skin fairly matte without breaking me out like most drug store foundations tend to do. However, over time I realized it was indeed causing me to break out specifically below my jawline from where I would blend the foundation down my neck a bit. I remember passing it along to my sister and never even thought about it again. I think I will just stick to not using foundation and only spot concealing where I feel is needed.

Anastasia Beverly Hills - Liquid Lipstick in Spicy
I absolutely loved the ABH liquid lipstick in Spicy for quite some time. I got so much use out of it since May 2016 it became my go-to for a good year or so! A red-orange lip is for sure my favorite lipstick to wear and I really liked this specific shade in a liquid lip because it lasted on me all day long with close to no touchups needed. With time I'm not exactly sure as to why I slowly neglected it. I accumulated more red-orange lipsticks which made for a much faster application. Also, after time the liquid lipstick began to dry out so every time I would apply it, it left my lips pretty dry and unflattering. I actually still have this lippy in my collection but I think it's time I toss it out since it has been some time since I've actually used it. I would say I still do love this liquid lip but I have been enjoying an actual lipstick bullet a lot more recently. This shade Spicy is out of this world stunning if it wasn't in a liquid lipstick form I would even buy that. I'm not a fan of liquid lipsticks as I once was, they're a bit too drying and I find a bullet way more convenient. If you're into liquid lipsticks for sure check this shade out!

Lush Cosmetics - Snow Fairy Body Conditioner
It was December 2016 when I discovered Snow Fair body conditioner from Lush and I've been in love with it ever since. I have continued to repurchase this body conditioner every Holiday season since and I recently ran out of my last Snow Fairy tub. I love Lush's body conditioner because it hydrates the skin so well. I've said it many times on my blog that my skin gets very sensitive from shaving especially in the summer months and the body conditioner nourishes my skin and leaves it feeling silky smooth. Snow Fairy is one of my favorite scents from Lush because of its yummy candy smell. I own a favorite of their body conditioners in different scents and they're just the best. If you have dry skin you have to pop into your local Lush stores and try them out. I can't wait for the Holiday season to approach so that I can stock up on Snow Fairy once again.

Tarte - Shape Tape concealer
Who remembers when the Tarte shape tape was all anyone was talking about back in 2016? I finally bit the bullet and purchased it in Spring of 2017 and for a good few months, I was in love with it. I loved it so much that I even wanted to purchase it in another color to use as a foundation. I honestly feel that with age and getting older I just don't like using makeup like I once used to. I began feeling that this concealer was way too heavy especially for my under eyes. I started to really dislike it because it looked and felt so thick on my face that I completely disregarded it. This probably also had a lot to do with me beginning to really embrace my skin and enjoy a more natural look. I guess I just fell in love with how my skin looked when I wasn't wearing this guy versus when I was wearing. I always felt like I needed to go wash my face because it just felt like too much in my personal opinion. It was good while it lasted.

What are some products you used to love that you no longer use? Creating a monthly favorites post used to be a post I look forward all month to do. However, some months I did feel some pressure in having to put the content out even though I didn't have much to share or talk about. I gave up on sharing monthly favorites all together and today I thought it would be fun if we revisit some of my old favorites with you guys. I will share whether I'm still loving some of the products I once raved about and I'll even throw in a product or two that I no longer enjoy. Back in February of 2017 I first shared the Briogeo Rosarco Milk Reparative leave-in conditioning spray. This spray claims to diminish frizz, leave hair soft and shiny while protecting it from heat and UV rays. I have been using this spray ever since and it is essential to my hair care routine. It definitely conditions my hair without weighing it down or making it look or feel greasy. I truly believe this has been one of the main products to help in my hairs health, and I absolutely love everything I have ever tried from Briogeo. I will continue to repurchase this time and time again. It's going on two years since my last updated hair care routine was posted so I have been planning on doing a current version sometime in the following month or so. Black Cherry Merlot candle has definitely been a staple in my candle collection, so I'm very thankful that it has become one of the candles that B&BW carries year round. I know I already said this in my 2016 October favorites but I have to say it again and always, this candle takes me back to when I was a kid back in elementary school when my mom would buy those Juicy Juice boxes. This candle reminds me so much of the grape juice! Am I think only one who thinks of this? Anyway, the notes this candle consists of are; dark cherry, black raspberry, and sumptuous merlot. It is so good and can be burned year round. I had been wanting these boots for a year prior to purchasing so when the fall rolled about in Washington along with the non-stop rain I knew I needed these. I got so much use out of them while living in Seattle I was even eager to buy myself another pair. Now that we're back in California I'm still finding myself wearing them so much! It has been raining a lot in California and every time I'm slipping my boots on I tell myself how happy I am to own them. They're so easy to slip on and off, they're comfortable, and I never worry if I'm stepping in a puddle since my feet are completely protected. Even while walking on the grass that is slightly muddy. Sometimes I even look for puddles to walk into for fun haha. I 100% recommend these boots to everyone! The quality is great. They're a little pricey for boots but I have owned them for well over a year and they're still in great condition.

Tarte - Clean Queen Deodorant

Antiperspirant such a weird-touchy-personal topic. I've said it before and I'm saying it again, I have always been the person that sweats a little too much in my opinion. It was so embarrassing for me to wear colored clothes because you could immediately see my sweat on my underarms, ugh the worst! Ever since I started using the Tarte clean queen deodorant in June of 2017 it has saved me from all of the embarrassment, and I feel so much more comfortable and confident wearing all kinds of clothes and colors. This is a cruelty-free, aluminum free deodorant that contains aloe vera that helps soothe and condition your underarms to help avoid any kind of irritation. It is a solid deodorant and it applies smoothly. It also smells so good, very fresh and clean. I use this deodorant off and on, I'm never without it and have continued to repurchase it. I don't use it day to day because I have another deodorant that I also really enjoy, plus this helps me kind of conserve the usage of the clean queen because it is a tad bit pricey for an antiperspirant. I love using it specifically during the summer time!

Jo Malone London - Pomegranate Noir Cologne

You best believe I'm going to include a Jo Malone cologne in this post! I am a very big Jo Malone fan and have a very good amount of fragrances. My obsession for the brand started up back in August 2017 and it's continued to grow since then. In February 2018, I purchased the Pomegranate Noir cologne on a whim because one of my favorite bloggers KATE LA VIE would always rave about how it's the perfect winter scent. When looking up the notes; (pomegranate, raspberry, plum juice spiked with pink pepper, Casablanca lily, and spicy woods.) it all sounded so lovely but I was a bit worried about the spicy woods note. I've never been much of a fan of woodsy fragrances. I can very easily say that Pomegranate Noir is my number one favorite cologne by Jo Malone! I absolutely love it and as soon as Winter arrives I use it close to every single day. It's so delicious from its dark juicy fruity scent and the kick of woodiness, it's pure perfection. If you have not smelled this fragrance I very highly suggest you do so. As I said my collection of Jo Malone colognes has grown a lot and I have been thinking of sharing a JM cologne collection post. What do you guys think about that?

Quay Australia x Desi Perkins High Key *Not Pictured*

When Quay Australia first released their sunglasses collab with Desi their shades wasn't something I felt I desperately needed. I thought they looked very nice but at the time I had opted for a different pair. A few months later I really wanted to get my hands on the High Key in gold that I talked about on my August 2017 favorites. A couple of months later I even purchased the gunmetal black and rose gold color. I got pretty good use out of them, specifically the gold pair it was my favorite. Unfortunately, it has now been months since I've even touched the gold pair and the gunmetal I think I last used them over the Summer. I still think they have a very nice look to them, they're just not my style anymore since I have been really into a more simple look. I've been all about the more timeless and classic sunglasses. I went ahead and sold them earlier this month, I wanted them to have a new home with someone else that would give them the love they deserve.

How did you guys like this little twist of revisiting some of my old favorites?
