Today I am going to share my top favorite Bath \u0026amp; Body Work winter candles. I have a lot more candles to share for my winter edition. I try to limit myself to my top five favorite candles but I just couldn't do it this month. I love all the candles I'm sharing today and you too will see why if you have either smelled it in the past or if you smell it after reading this post. I have a lot of candles to talk about so let just quickly begin.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nThe first candle I want to talk about is the ideal winter or Christmassy candle, at least it is in my opinion. \u003cb\u003eTis The Season \u003c/b\u003econtains the classic cinnamon scent that warms up the entire room that it's burning in. It makes that room feel so warm and cozy with a perfect hint of freshness because of the red apples. I burn this candle every single year and I even finished burning one a few weeks ago.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cb\u003eNotes\u003c/b\u003e: red apples, sweet cinnamon bark, cedar wood.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nThe following candle contains more of a fresh scent which you know I love. If you love fresh scented candles and ones that smell of clean man \u003cb\u003eWinter\u003c/b\u003e is definitely the candle for you. I love the feeling I get when I have these kinds of candles burning especially on a nice cold winter day. The freshness of the candle gives me a refreshing feeling that makes me want to wrap a cozy blanket around me.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cb\u003eNotes\u003c/b\u003e: pine needles, white woods, sparkling clementine, spiced cloves.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nThis next candle is an essential of mine, an all time favorite. Peppermint is one of Christmas' signature scent so it only made sense to include \u003cb\u003eTwisted Peppermint\u003c/b\u003e in this post. When I was a kid, I'm sure like most kids, I was obsessed with candy canes. As I grew up I wasn't as fond of them as I once was but the scent was always a favorite of mine. I guess the scent kind of makes me nostalgic in a way because it brings back wonderful memories of Christmas while I was a kid. It's filled nothing short of happiness. This candle can became a little overwhelming if I leave it burning for hours on end. This candle is perfect to have burning while you're anxiously waiting for Christmas to arrive.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cb\u003eNotes\u003c/b\u003e: cool peppermint, sugar snow, vanilla buttercream, fresh balsam, hint of musk.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nAnother all time favorite candle of mine is \u003cb\u003eWinter Candy Apple\u003c/b\u003e. I love candles which consist of red apple scent. When I smell this candle I feel a hint of sweet freshness. Winter Candy Apple and even Twisted Peppermint are some candles that I have repurchased countless times. I've even owned this scent in a body wash and hand sanitizers in the past and I just loved them. I don't think the scent is one you'll grow tired of its just perfect.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cb\u003eNotes\u003c/b\u003e: red apple, candied orange, maple leaf, cinnamon, winter rose petals.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nI know I just mentioned two of my all time favorite scents and here is one last one. B\u0026amp;BW winter candles are some of my absolute favorite. Another candle I have purchased multiple times and even have a bunch stashed away is \u003cb\u003eMarshmallow Fireside\u003c/b\u003e. This candle was one of the first candles of theirs that I fell in love with. Typically I don't gravitate to sweet candles but this one is just perfect. The marshmallow scent is heavenly and you can literally get a hint of the fire burning when you smell the candle. I love having a candle that smells of Christmas trees or something similar to a wreath. \u003cb\u003eHolly Berry Balsam\u003c/b\u003e is one of the newest scents B\u0026amp;BW came out with this year. This candle smells of a few different scents but the most potent is the notes of Christmas tree. This is another candle that gives me such a comforting feel while I have it lit. At my house we have artificial trees so anything to fill up the house of that fir scent I am all for it. This specific candle isn't necessarily a must have of mine but its more of the scent that is. A gingerbread candle is an absolute must have of mine during the winter or more so during Christmas. Sadly B\u0026amp;BW's doesn't carry a gingerbread candle that I enjoy, they all have somewhat of a perfume scent that I don't like. It has to be a true gingerbread scent. The first gingerbread candle I ever owned was from Yankee Candle and I swear it was the most delicious scented candle I've ever smelled. I loved this candle so much. I burned it sparingly and it lasted me for years and I'm barely going to finish it this year. Unfortunately Yankee Candles no longer carry this specific candle however I came across this \u003cb\u003eGingerbread House\u003c/b\u003e candle from Target that smells almost if not identical to it. I'm not very picky when it comes to what brand of candles I purchase I don't only stick to B\u0026amp;BW. You should definitely check out the this candle from Target even price is really good for the size. Before I forget lets just take a moment to appreciate the adorable packaging, and yes the lid is \u003cb\u003epeach\u003c/b\u003e. They also have a few more candles in this cute packaging all in different scents. I picked up Peppermint Kiss and it is amazing!\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cb\u003eNotes\u003c/b\u003e: ground ginger, bakes cookies, molasses.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nWhat are some of your favorite winter candles? I'm so excited for fall because it is my favorite season. Leaves begin to fall and change colors, the heat begins to subside and as cooler weather approaches, longer nights, cuddle season, Halloween and more holidays to follow. Lots of things to look forward to and since it is now Autumn I am back to share my favorite Bath and Body Works candles fall edition. If you've been reading my blog for a while now then you remember back in July I shared my favorite B\u0026amp;BW \u003ca href\u003d\"http://www.ohhjuliana.com/2016/07/my-top-favorite-b-candles-summer-edition.html\" target\u003d\"_blank\"\u003eSummer edition \u003c/a\u003ecandles. I had a lot of fun doing that and thought it would be even more fun to continue sharing my favorite candles for every season because I have different favorite candles for each season. These aren't in any specific order I am just going to begin.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nI love a variety of candle scents from fruity, to mildly sweet and fresh clean. For Fall I think most of the candles I enjoy are a lot warmer and cozy if that makes any sense. First candle I am going to share is very Fall or should I say Autumn appropriate, and it is called \u003cb\u003eAutumn\u003c/b\u003e. When I smell this candle I automatically see myself in fall weather, walking down the streets that are filled with golden leaves all over the ground. The fresh crisp and chilly air, and the feeling of the Autumn season approached us. I love to burn this candle in the late afternoon just before the sun begins to set. It gives me the best feeling and I am obsessed with the fresh scent that it gives the house. I believe this candle is a cult favorite of many and it is always being re-released every year. I always make sure to pick up one each year so that I am never without it.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cb\u003eNotes\u003c/b\u003e: bright red apple, cedar wood, fir balsam.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nThe second candle I'm going to talk about is a must for me to have during this season. \u003cb\u003ePumpkin Apple\u003c/b\u003e is definitely on the top of my lists of favorite candles. Apple scent is already a favorite of mine and even though I wasn't always a fan of pumpkin I do love the way it smells. The mixture of these two scents are perfect and screams fall to me and are two of my favorite fall scents. I think the juiciness of the red apples go so well with the spiciness of the pumpkin. I don't know what more to say about this candle you have to go pick one up and smell it for yourself. You can't go wrong with either one of these, the latte one is just a little more warmer in scent and I find the swirl a tad more sweeter. This candle is definitely on the more sweeter side like I said in the beginning and I can't have it burning for too long. One hour maybe two hours at the most but it makes the entire house smell so delicious. The scent lingers through the house for hours which is why I find I only need to burn it for an hour or else the scent will become too strong and ends up making me feel sick. Today I'm going to be sharing my favorite foundations; why they are my favorite, what kind of coverage each of them give and what tool I found works best when applying each foundation. I have gone through tons of foundations some that worked out very well for me and others that ended in disaster. I am going to begin sharing the foundations from my least favorite to my all time favorite. Keep in mind that when I say least favorite it doesn't mean I don't like the foundation I mean it is included in my top five favorite foundations, but one had to come in last place and I just like the other foundations maybe a hair more. Also I wanted to mention a quick FYI on my skin type. I know I have mentioned this many times in the past my skin type is oily so most of these foundations works best for my skin type. I feel my skin is pretty normal on the outer area of my face but I get pretty shiney on my T-zone some days more than others depending on how hot the weather is.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nThe first foundation I'm going to talk about is a drugstore foundation and it's the only affordable one that made it to my top five favorites. I was first introduced to\u0026nbsp;\u003cb\u003eRimmel London stay matte \u003c/b\u003efoundation by my sister in law. I was in the market to purchase a more affordable foundation so that I could use for work and not use or waste my higher end ones. Mary had told me how she really liked this one and that it is a matte foundation which is exactly what I need for work. I decided to give it a try even though in the past almost every single drug store foundation I used never worked out for me. Drug store foundations will either not last on my face for long, makes me look very greasy and quick, or it ends up breaking me out. I remember loving how this foundation looked on my skin after the first time I used it. My skin looked very smooth the finish was beautiful and full coverage. I was extremely happy once a couple of weeks passed and my skin hadn't broken out. This foundation has a liquid mousse texture and claims to have a natural finish along with being light weight. I completely agree with those claims. This foundation kept my skin looking smooth, flawless and matte all day! I think any skin type can use this because it isn't drying at all. A lot of drug store foundations wouldn't make it to the eight hour mark and this one definitely does. I also love to apply this foundation with a beauty blender I found it gives the most natural finish while still giving me great coverage. If you are looking for a matte affordable foundation, I 100% recommend this one right here. It has never disappointed me and that says a lot.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nNow we have the\u003cb\u003e Nars all day luminous weightless\u003c/b\u003e foundation. When this foundation first came out I was very excited to try it out since I had heard it was targeted for people with oily skin. I was also hearing lots of great things about it. This foundation gives off a natural glow without looking greasy or oily. I feel like it still keeps me pretty matte but glowy at the same time. I am able to get either a lighter or full coverage finish. When I first started using this I was in love and it quickly became my number one favorite foundation. Weeks later I began to notice that some days by the end of the day my makeup started to break up. This didn't happen all the time so I couldn't figure out what was going on or what was causing this to happen. I would switch off with using a brush and a beauty blender to apply it and some days the foundation looked beautiful by night time. Then other times once again it was separating and it was making me skin look cakey. I kind of pushed it to the back of my foundation drawer and forgot about it. It wasn't until the middle of summer that I started to use it again. I had remembered one of my friends that works at Sephora had told me when this foundation first came out that it was meant to be blended out with your fingers but since I never do that I ignored it. One day I decided to give that a try and boy did it apply beautifully. I first apply the foundation using my fingers and blend it in. Then I go over with my beauty blender to make sure everything is completely blended in and it looks great. My makeup looked just as great by the end of the day as it did when I first applied it. There was no separation or cakeyness and it still allows me to get a good amount of coverage. I am very happy that I tried applying it with my fingers because if I didn't it would have gone to complete waste. I would probably not have used it again and the bottle is still pretty full.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nThis next foundation I like to wear on days where I am looking for a more of a lighter coverage, usually during the spring time although I mainly use it for photos. If I am doing my makeup to post on IG 99% of the times I am using the \u003cb\u003eMake Up For Ever HD\u003c/b\u003e foundation, old formula. I purchased this foundation a couple months before they released the new formula so I have no idea how that one works, looks, or wears. This one on the other hand I love for photos since it was developed to make you look flawless in photography and television. I feel it does exactly that and my skin always comes out looking for good. It has a very flawless and natural finish even with the lightest layer. I don't like to use this foundation on warmer days or all day either because it doesn't keep me matte and I end up getting oily on my T-zone. This foundation isn't meant to mattify you which is why I like to stick to using it for photos or for a light coverage like I mentioned. I like to apply this foundation using either a flat top brush or beauty blender. You guys know how I love my beauty blender I don't think anything compares to it but I have found that even with using a brush with this foundation it still looks great. I definitely see a difference in my up close makeup photos when I'm using something else.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nAll right so for the last two foundation this was extremely hard to choose which was my number tow and one favorite foundation. I was going to make them a tie but I have to be honest I do like one a very tiny bit half of a hair more even if it pains me to admit. My second favorite foundation is the \u003cb\u003eYounique mineral touch liquid \u003c/b\u003efoundation. A few months ago I even did an entire review on it so I don't want to spend too much time talking about it. I still absolutely love this foundation. Since I posted the \u003ca href\u003d\"http://www.ohhjuliana.com/2016/06/younique-liquid-foundation-review.html\" target\u003d\"_blank\"\u003ereview\u003c/a\u003e\u0026nbsp;on this foundation it has literally been the only foundation I was using up until the end of August. I realized I needed to start using up some of my other foundation more haha. I love it for many good reasons, it makes my skin look flawless, natural, and gives off a natural glow while keeping my matte. It keeps me matte all day and looks beautiful whether you decide to go with a light or full coverage. It also lasts all day on me. I love to apply this foundation first using a makeup brush. I blend it all in then I grab my damp beauty blender and go over everything with it. This helps me ensures that everything is blended and picks up any excess product that the brush may have left on my face. It leaves a beautiful finish to my skin. This foundation reminds me a lot of the Nars one I spoke about above except this one keeps me more matte. The reason why I choice to make one my second favorite is sometimes on days that was ridiculously hot out and I applied a fuller coverage by the end of the day my face would be a tiny bit oily. This isn't anything crazy and it can easily be fix with some blotting powder of course. Some days though I found even going in with a powder to touch up it would make the side of my nose look a tiny bit cakey, and this happens sometimes with certain foundations on hot days. Especially with a full face of makeup.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nMy number one all time favorite foundation is the \u003cb\u003eEstēe Lauder double wear\u003c/b\u003e foundation. I know this foundation is like a cult favorite for some many woman. This foundation stays in place all day without budging and it keeps me matte. Two key things I look for and need in a foundation. This foundation build ups beautifully and looks great as full coverage. If I have a blemish, it covers it up completely. I have yet to experience any cakeyness with it. I like to apply this foundation using a beauty blender because it is more thicker and the beauty blender will sheer it out. It helps my foundation to not became heavy and cakey. This is the foundation I always travel with because I know I will always get a perfect application. I always use this foundation while I am at Disneyland therefore I am able to use it all day and in hot weather. Since it is a full coverage foundation I don't feel its heavy on the face like some foundations can feel and it doesn't make my face feel gross by the end of the day either. I know this foundation is meant to keep people completely matte all day but by the end of the day, mainly while I am at Disneyland, I do notice a small amount of shine coming through on the bridge of my nose and tops of my cheeks. This doesn't bother me at all because it looks like a natural glow and it isn't overly shiny to where I look oily. I actually really love how this happens at the end of the day and think it looks very pretty. The shine I get with this foundation is a lot less than the with the Younique one. When I use the double wear foundation I really don't need to touch up my face ever, I do sometimes but I can definitely skip it if I wanted to. This is definitely a holy grail foundation of mine (Younique being one too) and I'm pretty sure it is a foundation I can't live without. I do own a lot of brushes just so that if one brush is dirty I have something else I can grab, with that being said I definitely have my absolute favorite ones. When I first began to purchase my first name brand makeup brushes I noticed they were quite pricey and a definite investment. I have learned with experience that expensive brushes aren't always the best. The brushes I am going to share today are always my go to brushes that have never failed me and I always get the best makeup application while using them. I don't usually like applying my foundation with a makeup brush I prefer a beauty blender. Personally I find I get a more flawless and natural application with a beauty blender than with a makeup brush. I had been hearing many talk about the Morphe \u003cb\u003eM439\u003c/b\u003e and that they get a beautiful and natural finish while using this brush. I am always for trying new brushes to apply foundation in hopes that I may find one that I actually like how it applies my makeup. Brushes are a lot easier and faster to apply foundation and I admit sometimes I get lazy to have to go wet my beauty blender. Once I purchased this makeup brush and began using it I was very pleased with how my makeup looked. I feel with brushes my foundation can get thick, cakey and doesn't blend out the foundation well compared to a beauty blender where it will soak up any excess product. This brush does a great job blending out my foundation quickly and without making it look like I just have a whole bunch of foundation sitting on my face. I really enjoy using this brush to first apply my Younique liquid foundation, blend it all in, and then I go in with my beauty blender to press in the product to my skin. I love how it makes my face look by using these two together! How ever I don't always use the blender thats only when I feel like being a little extra. This brush applies foundation beautifully alone. This brush is a part of their Elite collection that is now being discontinued. They have to be re-released these brushes with a larger line along with redesigning their brushes and improving them. By looking at this brush you can see that it is a very flat and compact brush. I have seen a lot of ladies using this brush to apply their foundation, but the way I absolutely love to use it to apply powder to my face. Since this brush is very dense it really allows me to pack the powder on my face easily and it gives me get the perfect amount of coverage that I want without being heavy handed. This brush is so soft which I think makes it perfect for face powder. This brush has definitely been in a past monthly favorites and it is the Morphe \u003cb\u003eM527\u003c/b\u003e. This is a goat haired brush and that is why it is so incredibly soft. That makes blending extremely easy to do. I love any brush that will make the application quick and easy for me. Now I like to use this brush more when I am really looking to bronze up my face and since this brush is larger it covers more space. This makes it super easy and quick to bronze your face. I like this brush when I'm looking for an all over natural bronze not necessarily a precise bronze or contour. Another thing I love about this brush is that it does't shed! It is just as soft and blends everything out just as beautifully but since it is smaller you can really control where your bronzer goes without having to go back and clean or \"bake\" your bronzer/contour. I like to use this brush for those reasons along with when I am in more of a hurry to get my makeup done with. Elf products can be found at Target, Old Navy and I believe even Walgreens now. This is the cheapest brush that I'm sharing today and it is only $3. This brush is everything and you can see from the photo above I own two of them. This brush is labeled as a blush brush but I love to use it to set my under eyes. Once I am done applying my concealer if I'm not using my beauty blender to bake my under eyes I use this brush. I also use this brush to sweep away the excess powder once I'm done with the baking. This brush is also incredibly soft and it has the perfect tapered angle to really get under the eye. The brush on the bottom with the glittery washi tape I use for highlight. It does a great job to really pack on the highlight along with blending it out beautifully. Clearly I must really love this brush if I own two and use them for different purposes. I have tried a few other brushes from Elf and this blush brush has by far been the best I have tried. I have close to 100 candles by now to be completely honest. I love how every season they are constantly bringing out new scents along with some of their most famous signature scents. I'm constantly popping in their store to see whats new. I have so many favorite candles of theirs and I really want to keep these kinds of posts to a minimum. I decided for today I wanted to share some of my favorite candles for summer time. Of course this is my all time favorite candle of theirs I love everything peach. Bath \u0026amp; Body Works carry different peach scented candles but this one is my absolute favorite. There's just something about Peach Bellini every time I smell this candle it feels very refreshing. The peach scent is very strong in my opinion but that's why I love it so much. The other peach scented candles they carry are more subtle and this one is a splash of bubbly peachiness. I think the reason why this candle has such a burst of peach scent because it contains orange and mandarin and I love those two scents. If there is a candle I would highly suggest anyone to purchase from Bath \u0026amp; Body Works it would be this one! B\u0026amp;BW are always re-releasing this scent so it always in a new and different packaging. The packing of this candle is actually from a collection they released last spring so just keep an eye out or ask an employee to show you where they are.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cb\u003eNotes:\u003c/b\u003e\u0026nbsp;white peach, sweet orange peel, yellow mandarin, jasmine with a pop of blackcurrant.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nThere is no surprise here that my second favorite is another peach scent. This is \u003cb\u003eGeorgia Peach\u003c/b\u003e which smells of a delicious juicy peach. This candle unlike Peach Bellini is a much subtle scent also a bit sweeter. This scent is so simple and heavenly not at all over powering either, that is one thing I do not enjoy when my candles are too over powering in fragrance and overly sweet. This candle is perfect for a nice wash of sweet peach throughout your house. Every time B\u0026amp;BW is having a candle sale I will purchase either one of these two peach candles and trust me when I say I have tons as back ups.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cb\u003eNotes:\u003c/b\u003e Georgia peaches, dewy petals, hint of vanilla.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nFor my third favorite candle, this is one of the newest candles I was introduced to and I even spoke about it on \u003ca href\u003d\"http://www.ohhjuliana.com/2016/03/my-spring-essentials.html\" target\u003d\"_blank\"\u003emy spring essentials\u003c/a\u003e post. I am talking about the\u003cb\u003e Lemon Mint Tea\u003c/b\u003e candle. Back in March was when I first noticed this candle \u0026nbsp;mainly because of its cute packaging. I didn't usually gravitate towards lemon scented candles just because at the time I was not a fan what so ever of anything lemon. Every time I would go into the store I would find myself sniffing it and then I'd put it down. Randomly one morning I woke up with the urge of needing that candle in my life and I am so happy about that. I am so obsessed with this candle that it is actually coming to a close tie to Peach Bellini. This candle is so fresh because of the lemon and smells so clean. I already have a few stocked up for back ups that is how much I'm loving this candle. Every time I finish cleaning my room floor mopped and all I light this candle up and my room smells and feels extra clean. This candle is perfect for summer and even spring which was when I most burned it. I can also have this candle burning all day without getting tired of it. This candle like many other of theirs is always being re-released and it recently came out in new packing and name. Its still very similar its just labeled as Lemon Mint Leaf. This is the \u003cb\u003eCherry Blossom Sangria\u003c/b\u003e and this candle is filled of fun scents. This is more of a fruity scent yet not over powering at all. As soon as I open up the candle I can smell the deliciousness of the cherry and raspberries! This scent is perfect to have burning on a nice warm afternoon while you are relaxing.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cb\u003eNotes:\u003c/b\u003e cherry nectar, apple slices, wild raspberries.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nMy last candle is a one I'm surprised I'm even including in my top five favorites since I don't like anything coconut scented. Its strange to think that a candle can make you feel warm just by its scent. It smells very tropical and clean all at the same time. This is also another candle that I have purchase countless amount of times and had few back ups.
