weeks ago Lush Cosmetics held their annual Holiday BOGO sale. I now have been attending this sale for the last three years and it's the perfect time to stock up on some of your holiday favorites. Since it has been forever that I've shared a haul related post let alone talked about Lush products, I figured this was the perfect time to do so and of course, share what I picked up during the sale. Plus I finally got my order in the mail last week. I decided to pick up my essentials with a couple of new things for me to try out. I'm still stocked when it comes to certain products from Lush such as shower gels but I had to get my hands on some small sized holiday scents. This year (2018) I also decided to try and order as many of the things I wanted online to save myself a trip to the mall. As soon as 7 am hit I refreshed the website and the shopping began. This lotion has become my favorite from Lush next to another one I will talk more about later in this post. Once Upon A Time leaves my skin nice and hydrated and super soft. My favorite thing about it is that it smells of juicy green apples! This was a must for my\u0026nbsp;purchase\u0026nbsp;and I was able to snag two of the\u0026nbsp;smaller sized tubs since they had already sold out of the large. I'll just have to make sure I make these two last until next holiday season. However I still have one tub left from last year and while I was doing my online shopping I noticed they had the \u003ci\u003eRo's Argan body conditioner - gift size\u003c/i\u003e for sale. I immediately added two of these into my basket since this is one of my all-time favorite scents from Lush. I'm a huge\u0026nbsp;fan of anything rose scented! I'm already addicted to the shower gel and the Rose Bombshell bath bomb they release every year for Valentine's Day. Lush doesn't normally carry a smaller size of this body conditioner, only a large one for over thirty dollars and I never want to give that much money away when I tend to get it in their Valentine's Day gift sets. Plus I also stock up on their body conditioners\u0026nbsp;during this sale. Totally worth it! I had smelt it in the past and thought it smelled very nice and earthy. This is one of their products that sells out immediately and I know people who stock up on it. When I saw that they had a small size in stock I decided to add it to my basket so that Rudy and I can try it out once we run out of our current shower gel(s) that are in the bathroom. We like to have options while we wash haha. The vibrant orange color screamed citrus and I love me some citrusy scents. The lady that was working was so kind and offered me a sample to take home and I absolutely loved it, like I do with everything of\u0026nbsp;theirs. I held off on buying it because I wanted to pick it up during this sale since it's something I use a lot of. I wasn't planning on picking up any of their sets but once I saw this \u003ci\u003eSleepy gift set\u003c/i\u003e right away I added two because that was all I really needed to complete my order. This gift set includes the newly formulated shower gel formally known as Twilight now called\u0026nbsp;\u003ci\u003eSleepy shower gel \u003c/i\u003eand the \u003ci\u003eSleepy body lotion\u003c/i\u003e. I'm certain I have previously raved about how much I love anything lavender, especially for night time use to help unwind and relax before bedtime. The sleepy body lotion has been a go-to of mine for the last few years and I adore it. Can't live without it. Rudy and I are especially fans of the \"Twilight\" Sleepy shower gel. Originally I wanted to pick up a medium sized bottle of the shower gel but it was sold out. Going to keep this intro super short and quickly begin.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nThe first product I've been interested in trying is the \u003cb\u003e9 to 5\u003c/b\u003e cleansing lotion. This product sounds really cool because it is a soapless cleaner and is great to remove your makeup at the end of a long day. It claims to remove your makeup and cleanse the face super quick so if you're in a hurry you can be in and out in no time. This will definitely make your tub look like a potion for love. I'm hoping this will be a great alternative for me to use when Rose Bombshell bath bomb is gone. This cleanser has been a favorite of mine for almost a year now and was even in monthly favorites from early 2016. I love this cleanser and was out of it for a while. I finally repurchased it and I'm now using it every other day in my night time routine along with my Clarisonic. I enjoy that Dark Angles is a gentle exfoliator and that it contains charcoal. It is ideal for those of us who have and oily acne-prone skin. The charcoal in this absorbs any excess oils on the skin. It also contains rhassoul mud that goes deep into the skin cleansing it to prevent break outs. Once you're all done cleansing your face with Dark Angles you will notice how soft it left your skin and that is all thanks to the avocado oils that nourishes and lightly hydrates the skin. You can use this cleanser on your face or body as it says but I only used it for my face. Herbalism is very similar to Dark Angels, they're both a light exfoliant and are targeted for oily acne-prone skin. This herbal wash contains kaolin clay and rice bran that will soak up all the excess oils. The vitamins and minerals inside Herbalism will balance your skins oil production to a more clear and balanced skin. When using this I have noticed myself how much it really does help my skin when I'm battling a breakout or two. I have been using \u003cb\u003eD'Fluff\u003c/b\u003e \u003ci\u003eshaving soap\u003c/i\u003e since June and it quickly became a staple in my shaving routine. I think I've mentioned before on my blog that my legs get really sensitive when I shave often mainly in the warmer months. I get what I think is razor burn and usually on the sides of my calves little red bumps that look like a rash appear. It can be painful it mostly burns and it's not cute. Ever since I began using this it's done wonders to my legs. It's definitely helped prevent that irritation I get with shaving frequently and leaves my skin feeling moisturized. This shaving soap contains roseship oil, cocoa butter, and coconut butter. I am able to shave twice a week without any worries and pain-free. The consistency of D'Fluff is different because it's whipped and you also don't need a lot of this. I like using this to shave my arms and even armpits. Then comes winter my body now gets dry due to the cold. I used this on my legs right after I was done shaving my legs just to give it some extra hydration. When I was all done and dried myself off my legs felt velvety smooth. I used it a few times on my body and it worked just as great and I didn't even have to apply any lotion to myself afterward because this alone did a great job with that. A few weeks ago I picked up \u003cb\u003eRo's Argan\u003c/b\u003e body condition to also give a try and I also love it. I find that Snow Fairy is a little more greasy but for winter time I'm totally ok with that. That feeling goes away once you rinse and dry off. These body conditioners are jam packed cocoa, argan, and shea oils for that deep hydration. I've been enjoying this product on my legs and I know it will also be a staple in my shaving routine come summer time. I am not a huge fan of greasy lotions and am incredibly picky with them. This lotion is amazing and leaves my skin ridiculously soft. This is the only lotion I have used from Lush, and it is definitely my favorite body lotion of all time. When I was first introduced to this in a Lush store I was like nope no way because it was very greasy. After a while, that greasiness faded and it left my skin the softest it's ever been. I took home a sample, loved it, and a week later purchased a large pot. I'm currently on pot number two and trust me when I say a little of this goes a long way! Charity Pot contains rosewood oils with hydrating cocoa butter. It is ideal for sensitive and/or irritated skin. I love applying this all over my body but especially on my legs once I am finished shaving. It really helps soothe my skin while preventing any irritation since I've mentioned my legs are extremely sensitive with shaving. I also love applying this on my tattoos because it helps brighten up the colors. The scent is very faint but smells very clean and fresh. I grabbed the bottle and smelled it then I realized it was a \u003ci\u003eshampoo\u003c/i\u003e. This shampoo smells amazing filled of delicious fruity ingredients. It consists of papaya, pineapple, mango and kiwi juices for a nice deep clean. I don't wash my hair often at all as I've mentioned on my hair care post. Sometimes, which is completely normal, my hair will get oily and thats when dry shampoo becomes my best friend. This shampoo is meant to eliminate the excess oils that your scalp produces. This shampoo also contains sea salt which is great for giving your hair volume, which I need mainly in my roots. One last thing before I move on to the next product, seaweed extract is also included in this shampoo and it will soften your locks.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cspan style\u003d\"color: red;\"\u003e(Already Have)\u003c/span\u003e A conditioner goes hand in hand with shampoo and \u003cb\u003eVeganese\u003c/b\u003e sounds like my perfect \u003ci\u003econditioner\u003c/i\u003e. I like to be very light handed when I use any kind of conditioners because it can make my hair get and look oily a lot sooner. Conditioner can also weigh your down hair making it look flat. Veganese is a light weight conditioner that won't weigh your hair down and will give your hair a glossy shine. This conditioner is made with mineral rich agar agar, herbal rosemary and lavender infusion. The lavender infusion is great to care for a healthy scalp. When I first smelled Veganese the scent wasn't strong at all but subtle. It was a light fresh lemon scent and I'd love to see what wonders it will do to my hair.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cspan style\u003d\"color: red;\"\u003e(Already Have) \u003c/span\u003eSticking with hair products the next product I've been eyeing and dying to try out the \u003cb\u003eSea\u003c/b\u003e \u003cb\u003eSpray\u003c/b\u003e \u003ci\u003ehair mist\u003c/i\u003e. I think because I don't really wash my hair much when it's on day three my hair begins to fall flat. This even happens sometimes on day two hair and it can get really annoying. My roots are super flat against my head and it just looks weird making it look like I have a long head haha not cute. This spray is meant to give your hair volume and body because of the sea salt. Sea Spray contains orange flower, neroli and rosewood blend perfume and it smells amazing, different but just amazing. This spray can be used to style or hold your hair in place along with giving your hair texture and shine. Sea spray is going to be perfect to add that volume that I need in my roots. I've never used any volumizing products or any sea salt products so this would be a first. I've always been a bit worried to use products like this on my hair but since its from Lush I'm sure it'll do wonders.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nI haven't tried too many bubble bars but there is one that is always calling my name and it's \u003cb\u003eThe\u003c/b\u003e \u003cb\u003eComforter\u003c/b\u003e \u003ci\u003ebubble bar\u003c/i\u003e. This bubble bar looks and smells of a delicious candy. Its scent actually reminds me a lot of Snow Fairy with them both being sweet. You can use this bubble bar multiple times. Just break out a chunk and run it under the warm water and watch your water turn into a romantic pink color along with your tub being filled of fruity bubbles. This bar contains blackcurrant absolute. I really love the scent of the Comforter that I also really want to try \u003cb\u003eThe Comforter\u003c/b\u003e \u003ci\u003eshower\u003c/i\u003e \u003ci\u003ecream\u003c/i\u003e. It's the exact same scent as the bubble bar but in a shower cream version! I find the shower cream to be a lot more potent and I love it. I cannot go into Lush and not smell it. One thing I absolutely love about their shower creams is that they are a lot more hydrating on the skin and at the moment I'm all about body hydration.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nI've always seen the display of the massage bars inside Lush stores but it was never an item that I gravitated to. One morning in January I woke up with the worst pain on my back. My muscles felt so sore and I didn't know what to do to ease the pain. I took a warm bath which calmed it down a bit. Then I thought if I had the\u0026nbsp;\u003cb\u003ePearl\u003c/b\u003e\u0026nbsp;\u003ci\u003emassage bar\u003c/i\u003e\u0026nbsp;maybe that would have helped relax my muscles. This bar is perfect for sore spots, muscle tensions and will help you feel relaxed. Lush's massage bars melt pretty quick once you touch it which is perfect hydration for the skin. It contains argan and rose oils that will nourish and soothe your skin. Its the same scent as Rose Jam; a sweet, fruity floral scent. This massage bar is on the top of my list especially since it is something I know Rudy would really enjoy since he's always working long exhausting hours at work and always working out. I already had plans to head into my mall that same morning and when I got the email about the sale immediately I thought it was meant to be. I picked up a total of four gift sets during this sale and two full sized shower gels, I mean how could I not take advantage? If you are ever looking to buy from Lush this is definitely the best time to do so. The gift boxes are filled with a variety of goodies and they mainly consisted of items that I've never tried apart from a bath bomb or two. Gift sets are such a great way to try out some products that you've never tried before. I had never owned this wash nor had I ever tried any of their shower gels in the past. \u0026nbsp;When they brought this back for the season I smelled it for the first time and I fell in love. I really wanted to receive this for Christmas but didn't, Santa had already brought me lots of other goodies. I've heard people talk about Ro's Argan body conditioner and when I found out about Rose Jam I knew it would be a shower gel I'd enjoy using. I love the smell of roses and that's exactly what this wash smells of. It's a floral heaven, I cannot wait to use it. Second item in this set is the \u003cb\u003eSnow Fairy\u003c/b\u003e body conditioner. This smells exactly like the Snow Fairy shower gel and are perfect to be paired together. This body conditioner is to be used in the shower after you've washed yourself like normal. Then massage this into your wet skin and rinse off. It'll leave your skin feeling soft while smelling like candy, yum. Now for the last product that was included was the \u003cb\u003eShooting Star\u003c/b\u003e soap bar. In the past I have had two small cubed sized samples of Lush's soap and although they smelled amazing I wasn't much of a fan. I think it was due to the small sample size it made it hard to work with and lather up. I had seen this soap online under Lush's new items and thought it looked beautiful. I was so happy that this soap was included in this gift and was so excited to try it. This bar is already in my bathroom and I have used it a few times. I am a huge fan of anything that will soften my skin especially in winter time. \u003cb\u003eYuzu And Cocoa\u003c/b\u003e shower cream is the second item that was included in this gift. The fragrance of this cream consists of citrus, cocoa and tonka. I've already been using this gel and I find the scent a little strange mainly because I've never smelled anything like it. This wouldn't be a Jester gift set without this jolly joker. This bubble bar is packed of zesty tangerine and Sicilian mandarin oils and it will fill up your tub with bubbles. Fruity lime and neroli perfume is what \u003cb\u003eMonsters' Ball\u003c/b\u003e bath bomb smells of. \u0026nbsp;I believe this bath bomb was released while they had their Halloween products and I've heard nothing but great things of it. I'm excited to use this spooky cyclops soon!\u0026nbsp;\u003cb\u003eDragon's Egg\u003c/b\u003e is a bath bomb I have already used in the past. This is definitely a fun one, while this bomb is fizzing away small surprises start to appear in your tub. If you haven't already noticed a theme this is yet another item in which contains a fresh and citrusy scent of lemon and bergamot. Definitely my ideal scents. To conclude this gift the last item found here is the \u003cb\u003eSnowcastle\u003c/b\u003e soap bar. This soap is perfect for winter dry skin since it is made with soothing rose and benzoin resinoid. Its marzipan scent is said to be good enough to eat. The last bath bomb has a bursting blend of bergamot and Sicilian mandarin oils that gives off an uplifting orange scent. \u003cb\u003eSatsuma\u003c/b\u003e is a bath bomb that can only be found in a small selection of gifts sets and I was told it is normally a UK exclusive! \u003cb\u003eSanta's Postbox\u003c/b\u003e contains the design from UK's postboxes and is packed full of satsuma juice, enzyme and citrus essential oils to brighten your skin. The final item in both this gift and haul is the \u003cb\u003eBubbly\u003c/b\u003e shower gel. Fans of Golden Wonder bath bomb are said to recognize the perfume of this gel which is full of lime and Brazilian orange oils that guarantees to leave you feeling silky soft. Oh and lets not forget smelling fresh.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nI am definitely stocked up on shower gels, soaps and bath bombs!
