Since it had been some time that Rudy and I went looking for a new coffee shop to try out I knew I wanted to start the new year by visiting a new place. K Café is a newly opened shop that opened its doors on December 1, 2019. They've quickly become a hit and I think their interior may have something to do with it. On their menu, you can find coffee hot or iced, tea hot or iced, a slushie, pastries from macarons, croissants, toasts, cakes and more! I think they're really popular with their Eggpucino.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nThis has by far been the cutest spot I have ever visited. The exterior alone was beautiful. The shop is pink from the inside out, this is a millennial's dream come true. They offer seating outside in their patio which is completely dog-friendly. If you choose to sit outside you'll be surrounded by neverending greenery, I'm not complaining. This probably is a hipster place because of it's aesthetic but it's a place well worth visiting. Rudy and I really enjoyed our time here, and yes even Rudy was a fan. I ordered a Vietnamese coffee, Mango Passionfruit green tea, Shrimp toast, and a chocolate croissant. Neither one of us had ever had a Vietnamese coffee and it's true when they tell you its strong. It was delicious, had a hit of cocoa and it was lightly sweetened with condensed milk. Rudy was a huge fan of it. The Mango Passionfruit green tea was also really good. The perfect refresher you'd need on a warm day. Very fruity and it had a few pieces of fruits inside along with slices of oranges.\u003c/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv class\u003d\"separator\" style\u003d\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\u003c/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv class\u003d\"separator\" style\u003d\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"\u003e\nApart from the decór, the shrimp toast on the menu was another reason I wanted to visit K Café. This toast was perfect. It was so delightful that I wish Rudy and I weren't sharing it because I wanted my own haha. I definitely would recommend you giving this one a go. I'm already talking to Rudy about going back and he's ready too! If you're planning on visiting K Café I would advise you to get there early. They open at 1pm every day and they get pretty busy as soon as the doors open. I never got around in sharing a visit to a lovely little cafe shop in San Francisco called HOME Cafe. I visited this cafe in early March one morning, and well it's just way too cute not to share. I had been on the hunt to visit all the aesthetically pleasing coffee shops around the bay area. At one point I was on a roll and myself and Rudy were at a new one almost every weekend. I was so pleased when I realized that Home carries a limited supply of Third Culture Bakery goods. I've wanted to try the mochi donut from Third Culture Bakery for some time but never made time for a visit. I picked up was their mango passion fruit and Rudy ordered a mochi muffin. The donut was so delicious and I really enjoyed the mochi texture in this donut. The flavor of the mango passion fruit was spot on! I was so impressed with the coffee designs the baristas at Home create. Each is more beautiful than the next. The cookie monster latte had an adorable bear design with a couple of chocolate chip cookie cereal on top. I couldn't find this on their menu anymore but from what I remember it contained sparkling water, orange juice with rose petals sprinkled for garnish. I wasn't the biggest fan of this only because I felt it was watered down by the sparkling water. They have a wide variety of desserts to choose from. A few of their popular ice creams are the Cereal Milk, Honey, and Popcorn. They serve some pretty cute ice cream cones with flavors such as Honey Comb, Honey, and Cotton Candy. Something that immediately caught my eye was this tower of rainbow ice cream cones. How could you not take a picture of this masterpiece? I believe Rudy and I were lucky and stopped by on an evening that it wasn't very busy. We took our order as soon as we arrived and just a few minutes later we were given our treats.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nAs I mentioned Honey Creme has a large ice cream selection. The first ice cream I heard about was their Cereal Milk and I was intrigued. Rudy ordered the Honey ice cream and we enjoyed our desserts right outside since it was a perfect day to do so.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nThe Cereal Milk ice cream had honey drizzled around with cereal pieces. It was so good I would absolutely love to pick this up again. I wasn't sure how much I would like it since I can't usually eat too much honey without feeling grossed out, I don't know why, but it was the perfect amount and really added the tiniest touch of sweetness to the cereal. My favorite part of the ice cream was for sure the cereal.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nRudy's Honey ice cream wasn't bad either, he quite enjoyed it. As for me, a small bite was all I can take because once the honey is mixed into the ice cream the taste becomes really prominent. This would be a\u0026nbsp;honey lovers dream. This is a very small bagel shop with limited seating space. Rudy and I arrived at the store early morning and there wasn't much of a wait. All you have to do is sign up for their VIP waitlist and once you get through you can place an order of any of their bagels, minimum orders of a dozen. Rudy loved them so much he wanted us to place an order at least once and from the moment I placed my order it was delivered super quickly! We were super lucky that there was a Milk Bar a few blocks away from our hotel. New York currently has nine Milk Bar locations with a brand new one coming soon, and we visited their Upper West Side location. This was a small location but it was perfect enough to grab some soft serve and enjoy. Most of the people I saw come in would purchase their desserts to go. With the shop being so small, it was pretty cute inside. For example, the Compost cookie is a sweet and salty combo which consists of chocolate chips, pretzels, potato chips, coffee, and butterscotch. Their Cornflake-Marshmallow chocolate chip cookie contains exactly that, cornflake cereal and mini marshmallows. They offer two flavors and Rudy and I\u0026nbsp;decided to each order one so we could try them both out. Immediately I knew I was going to order the Fruity Cereal Milk soft serve since it contains fruity pebbles, my favorite cereal! Rudy ordered their\u0026nbsp;original\u0026nbsp;Cereal Milk soft serve that has cornflakes sprinkles over top. They were absolutely delicious, but I did favor mine more because of the cereal. Rudy's was yummy but definitely fell more on the saltier side which we weren't big fans of.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nThe same thing goes for their cookies. I was very disappointed with how salty they were. I had high expectation for them since I heard nothing but great things.
