my very first official Mother's Day. Last year I was still pregnant with little miss Lucy and if I remember correctly I was around 14 weeks pregnant. We didn't do much to celebrate the day. This year we also kept it low key but Rudy being the best husband I could have ever asked for made sure to make it special. I was definitely spoiled with tons of flowers, cookies from my favorite places, and a lovely gift from my sister. I didn't ask for much for Mother's Day, all I actually asked for was a mini sleepover with Lucy in our bed. Lucy has never slept in our bed with us unless it was naps during the day. I still give Lucy one early morning feeding, and after that, we all cuddled together until it was time to start our day at 7am.\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMother's Day has a whole new meaning this year because of Lucy. \u003ci\u003eLucy\u003c/i\u003e is my \u003ci\u003emiracle\u003c/i\u003e. \u003ci\u003eShe\u003c/i\u003e made me a \u003ci\u003emother\u003c/i\u003e. Lucy made my dream of becoming a mother finally come true. She will forever be the most special and precious thing I have ever had the honor of creating. Lucy will be four months in a couple of days and she is now officially in 0-3 month clothing, apart from a few newborn pieces from H\u0026amp;M that run a little larger but I will get into that later. While I was pregnant I purchased four sets from them and they are some of my favorite. Their material is extremely soft, buttery, silky, stretchy, you get my drift. I don't know how many times in this post I will say this but I adore putting Lucy in comfy lounge clothes like this. She wears them quite regularly about every week or every other week. I'm really trying to get the most use out of these sets before she outgrows them and with me washing them so much they're still in great condition! I was kinda bummed when they discontinued their infant sizes. Since then I have started purchasing their sets for her in 12-18 months, so for this fall! The material from these sets is kind of similar to the ones from Plain Jane, but they are all footed, unlike Plain Jane. The material is very soft and also stretchy which I've realized is a must when it comes to baby clothing. LMD has a variety of pieces to choose from apart from my favorite snuggle sets. They offer matching sets for mom and baby, head bows, crib sheets, sleepers, knotted gowns, and robes for moms. Once Lucy wore it I became even more obsessed and thought Rudy would never go for purchasing more, I was wrong! Rudy was just as obsessed with their zipper long-sleeve rompers as I was, if not more. We now have a \u003ci\u003ehuge\u003c/i\u003e collection of them in all colors. I'm a little sad because we recently put away the newborn size and Lucy is now wearing their 0-3 month size. We clearly love the stretchy breathable material of these jammies and we like their romper version. They do have a footed option but we prefer the footless romper because it gives the baby room to grow. Besides their pajamas, I ordered one of their sleep bags in 6-18 months for the day we have to unswaddle Lucy. I also purchased a few of the zipper sleeveless romper to try out for the springtime. There is a slight difference in material, their pants are high-waisted, the 0-3 months set has optional hand covers, and the 0-3 and 3-6 months sets are footed. Not only do we love their sleeper sets, but we are in love with their wraps! I own two different colors and we use them weekly. I love wearing Lucy it's such a special bond when wearing her. I find that most of their clothing is pretty true to size for the most part. Lucy is almost four months and can still fit into some of their newborn clothes which are the pieces that run a little larger. Since Lucy was born she was wearing their newborn size and occasionally some of their 3-6 month turbans. The 3-6 month ones were a little bit too big but it's a good example that it's pretty versatile with room to grow. For almost a year now my jewelry collection has grown a ton. I never wore necklaces since I no longer owned any. Rings, I wore the same rings all the time, my wedding rings and my favorite moonstone ring. My earrings were never changed out either, same ole same ole. My obsession with jewelry began when I discovered a lovely brand called Made by Mary. Now I know you guys must have already heard about this shop because I talked a lot about them in past posts. The majority of my necklaces are from them and they design each piece to hold a meaningful story that's unique to you. The first necklace I discovered, fell in love with, and ordered from\u0026nbsp;\u003cb\u003eMade by Mary\u003c/b\u003e\u0026nbsp;was their birth flower necklace. I ordered the September birth flower, Peony, back in April of 2019. I remember how much I loved it not only because it was the September birth flower specifically for me since I'm a September baby, but because the Peony was my birth flower. Peonies have become my favorite flower over the last few years. As soon as June arrives I begin looking for a bouquet of these beauties all over the place. The month of September is such a special month for me and it's not only because of my birthday, but it is also Rudy's birthday, the month we met, and the month we got married.\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\nIf you've noticed I have a small bee disc attached to the necklace, and that's because a few months later I ordered it separately specifically to add it to my peony necklace. This disc is part of their BumbleBee Collection and bees have become an obsession of mine this past summer. I have recently become really attached to them and have found myself relating to them a lot. Bees are fierce, mighty and strong and so am I. I also thought it would look so precious to have a tiny bee flying to my peony, as it would be in a garden. This is one of their customized pieces and I had mine stamped with the design of the moon \u0026amp; stars and for the text, I added my birthday 9.24.88. I consider this to be my \u003ci\u003emagical\u003c/i\u003e necklace. I love that it's in the shape of a rectangle because it's different from the other pieces I own. I also really like the image of the stars and moon, it gives me celestial vibes. That is something I really cherish about Made by Mary, all of their pieces are hand-cut, stamped, assembled and personalized just for \u003ci\u003eyou\u003c/i\u003e. I own a few but they're cheapy ones from H\u0026amp;M, not the greatest material. One of the nicer ones I own that is made from much better material is the Poppy choker necklace and you guessed it, from \u003cb\u003eMBM\u003c/b\u003e. I can probably say this about every single one of their pieces but I absolutely loved the look of this choker. I enjoy adding new pieces to my collection that is different from anything I own, and this is definitely different. I loved this Poppy necklace so much that I had my eye on their Poppy ring version which Rudy got for me to add to my wedding rings stack. For a while, I had been wanting to add a Libra coin necklace into my collection but could never find the right one. I've really been enjoying wearing this lovely gem since I love everything with my zodiac sign on it. I did want to share one set of earrings that I recently purchased. I felt like my gallery of jewels was lacking hoops. Once I found these Shooting Star Open Hoop earrings from \u003cb\u003eMaison Miru\u003c/b\u003e I knew it would fit in perfectly with the earrings I already had in my ears. These earrings are so cool and obviously very different from any of the ones I already owned. They fit the style I have going on which is somewhat celestial. I'm a lot pickier when it comes to rings just because I do have finger tattoos and finding the right size is difficult for me especially when purchasing them online. When shopping at \u003cb\u003eMujuri\u003c/b\u003e I came across the Honey ring that has a sweet lovely bee on it. The style of this ring is so elegant. Again, it's a bee piece and it means a lot to me, it is also unique to my collection. I absolutely love wearing it out because of its simple and dainty style. The moonstone is a symbol of powerful feminine energy along with balancing the female hormones. It also promotes intuition, creativity, and fertility while bringing peace and tranquility. I've had my eye on this necklace for a few months now and I'm so happy that Rudy picked this up for me to have just in time of a personal procedure we have in a couple of weeks.
