Museum. We've both already been here countless times, we love it. The last time we visited was back in 2016 which means it's been nearly three years ago. I have been wanting to go back to the Walt Disney Family Museum ever since they announced their newest exhibition that is celebrating animation's most loved and recognizable character. Mickey Mouse: From Walt to the World an original exhibition that shares the history of Mickey's impact on art and entertainment throughout the last nine decades. I was extremely excited to visit this exhibition because who doesn't love the most iconic mouse? Rudy and I visited the museum on Memorial Day and surprisingly the museum was nice and calm, not overly filled with people. I purchased their combo tickets which included viewings of their standard Walt Disney Family Museum exhibit and the new Mickey Mouse: From Walt to the World exhibition. The entire time we walked through the exhibit we were completely alone. It felt really\u0026nbsp;nice to be able to take our time and enjoy all of the pieces without feeling rushed by any crowds. The black and white images look amazing with the vibrant red background. It's such a beautiful contrast, and I kind of match the wall in my black jumpsuit and red lipstick. The black and white Mickey shows are some of my favorite\u0026nbsp;because I remember watching them so much when I was a kid. It is an original drawing made up by Walt Disney himself when he was first trying to create Mickey Mouse. This room reminds me so much of it. This building is a lot smaller than the original WDFM building which is perfect for temporary installments such as this one. The exhibition will showcase Mickey's transformation over the years starting from black and white, color, drawing Mickey, Mickey's animators, Mickey at the parks, Mickey fine arts, Mickey now, and the return of Mickey! The exhibit includes iconic work by famous artists like Andy Warhol, Gottfried Helnwein, and Wayne Thiebaud. I really liked the pops of colors of the red, blue and yellow. It really gives me that kid feeling. While we were at Pixar Pier Rudy and I did a lot of walking around as I took tons of photos of just about everything. text-align: left;\"\u003e\nNearing the end of our last day at the parks Rudy and I got to experience a sneak peek of the new Disney film, The Nutcracker And The Four Realms. It was so cool and the movie looks like it's going to be so good. I really can't wait to see it in theaters. It's pretty funny when I was little probably seven or eight every year during Christmas time I would watch The Nutcracker film that they would play over and over on the Disney channel. I was obsessed with it and used to say I wanted to be just like Clara and have a nutcracker of my very own only to go on an adventure. As I mentioned previously, Rudy and I have wanted to plan a trip to Disneyland in the past but we always ended up being super busy and overwhelmed with a bunch of other things to do. Two years later since our last trip, I'm so happy to announce that we're heading back to Disneyland \u003cb\u003etoday\u003c/b\u003e!\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003ca name\u003d'more'\u003e\u003c/a\u003e\u003cbr /\u003e\nSince we're headed back to the happiest place on earth, today I wanted to share with you all a long-awaited \u003ca href\u003d\"http://www.ohhjuliana.com/search/label/Disneyland\" target\u003d\"_blank\"\u003eDisneyland\u003c/a\u003e post, a Disneyland bucket list of some of the things Rudy and I want to do during our trip back this weekend. A lot of things in this list have somewhat turned into traditions of ours. There are also many more things we plan on doing during this trip that I didn't include on this bucket list, unfortunately. This trip back will definitely be very special since this will be our first time back to Disneyland and this time we're married! This one is definitely a favorite tradition of mine. During every single trip to Disneyland, Rudy and I always make sure to take a photo together in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle. I love looking back at these specific photos and remember each and every one of the trips those photos were taken. Since it's Halloween time at Disneyland they bring out the infamous large Mickey shaped pumpkin located in the center of Main Street. This is one of my favorite foods at Disney California Adventure \"\u003ci\u003eDCA\u003c/i\u003e\" because it's a large dish that you can even share (or don't share) with a few people, it's filling, and it's \u003ci\u003eso\u003c/i\u003e delicious. If you're not a fan of lobster they do have this nachos with the option of carne asada. During our last few trips, Rudy and I always tried to make sure we did some kind of character dining. Breakfast at The Plaza Inn is one of our favorite spots! Characters come to you one at a time and interact with you for a few minutes. During this time you can choose to snap a couple of photos. Since mine and Rudy's first trip to Disneyland, I started a tradition where I made sure to purchase at least one ornament. This was a great way of growing my collection of Disney ornaments (This mainly consists of Alice ornaments). The last couple of years I began purchasing pins and that has been a lot of fun to collect. Another tradition of mine is to pick up a caramel apple to take home and enjoy. These caramel apples are unlike any other I have ever tried. These are so delicious and maybe because it's Minnie shaped might have a lot to do with it haha. Believe it or not, with all the times I have gone to Disneyland, which is a lot, I have never been on the Dumbo The Flying Elephant ride. There isn't any specific reason as to why I've never been on it besides I didn't feel like waiting in line for it.
