So in the back of my head, yey.. birthday treat! haha! We don't have any scheduled activity for the day but we're thinking of going to Sky Terraces 428 as well as visit Madame Tussauds. We didn't book our tickets in the \u003ca href\u003d\"https://www.klook.com/invite/\" target\u003d\"_blank\"\u003eKlook \u003c/a\u003eapp for this one because we're still not sure if we will visit these prior to the planning of this trip. Luckily, the caretaker of the inn we're staying at is selling discounted tickets of different Hong Kong tourist spots. I forgot how much we saved when we bought our tickets from her but what I can remember is it is still cheaper if we buy our tickets from the \u003ca href\u003d\"https://www.klook.com/invite/\" target\u003d\"_blank\"\u003eKlook\u003c/a\u003e app.\u0026nbsp;\u003ca name\u003d'more'\u003e\u003c/a\u003e\u003c/center\u003e\n\u003ccenter\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\u003c/center\u003e\n\u003ccenter\u003e\nWe just went to Sky Terraces 428 and see the overlooking view of Hong Kong. It was all skyscrapers and it was foggy when we got to the top. We didn't went to Madame Tussauds because a lot of people already told me that there's nothing fancy inside. Just wax figures of celebrities and the price of the ticket is not worth the attraction inside. Too bad, wanted to see Taylor's Swift wax body inside \u003ci\u003epa naman.\u003c/i\u003e At least if not the real Taylor, her wax counterpart can make it up for it. I was kinda sad about it. When me and my father went to Thailand, I also wanted to visit Madame Tussauds Bangkok but we ran out of time when we're in Bangkok so we weren't able to go.. and now that we're in HK, I also weren't able to see what's inside. Not bad though. To start the day, we went to the terminal of peak tram.. which by the way is the transportation to Victoria Peak and Sky Terraces 428. Sky Terraces on the other hand is the highest viewing deck in all of Hong Kong! Standing in 428 meters above sea level, this viewing deck has surely already wowed many visitors. If you're into fancy city lights like me, it's best to visit this viewing deck at night to see the amazing Hong Kong skyline. As for us, we went here before lunch so what welcomed us is a view of tall skyscrapers covered with fog. But it's not like the fog we saw in Ngong Ping village. And I definitely would like to come back. But not so soon I guess. My next out of the country is still scheduled next year but as early as now, I'm quite excited for that travel because it would be my first time to visit that country. And you haven't been to Hong Kong if you didn't go to Disneyland! For kids and kids at heart like me, this is definitely a happy place especially if you're a Disney fanatic. I won't deny though, my first time here is more magical compared to my second visit. It feels like I was a kid again. I remember my first time, the parade was sooo cool, and the fireworks was super magical! If I remember it correctly, the song back then was A Whole New World and I was holding back my tears while watching the majestic fireworks show. (no judging please! But hey, even on Mondays, the lines are long! So just imagine what more during weekends. The Main St. is not yet crowded so I think this is the best time to have a photo taken. Upon entering Disneyland, I first got our map and times guide for the show. Then we first explored Toy Story Land! We rode the train to Fantasyland then we walked to Toy Story Land. When we got there, it was still closed so we had our breakfast while waiting. I am a fan of Toy Story!!! And during my first visit here, Toy Story Land is still under construction so just imagine how happy I am to see\u0026nbsp;\u003cspan style\u003d\"text-align: left;\"\u003ethe giant Woody. HAHA. The setting is sooo awesome and cool. It's as if we're toys as well. We watched Mickey and the Wondrous Book and Mickey's PhilharMagic show which is both amazing. Mickey's PhilharMagic is a 4D production wherein aside from the 3D feature, you can also smell or be splashed by water. Mickey and the Wondrous Book on the other hand tells a story on how Olaf can be back to his own story which is \"Frozen\". It features different Disney movie. the production's very fun that not just the kids enjoyed. Lining up is worth it! The actors and actresses as well as the dancers really gave justice to the movies. The show is in Chinese, I just don't know if they do it in English too. Both is so good. It's very lively you want to dance with the presenters. The are marshals though so you can't just really dance with them. All the Disney characters I know are included in both parades. I just hope in the next coming years, they can also include characters from Disney Channel's original movies. Or better yet, they can create one for all these Disney cartoons and original movies. hehe. It was actually my second time in Hong Kong but this is the first time I've seen most of its attractions. Though of course, first times will always be the best. It's gloomy and it's raining from time to time. Our first stop was Lantau Island. And to get there, we took the cable car ride or also know as the Ngong Ping 360. Lantau Island is actually the largest island in Hong Kong, and although it's not that famous among tourists, there are a lot of things you can do here.\u0026nbsp;\u003c/center\u003e\n\u003ccenter style\u003d\"text-align: justify;\"\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\u003c/center\u003e\n\u003ccenter style\u003d\"text-align: justify;\"\u003e\nWe're only be doing a day trip here so our only agenda was the Po Lin Monastery and to see the Big Buddha up close. But like what I said, it was foggy and so the big Buddha wasn't that clear. Thailand was and is a religious country and mostly revolves around Buddhism.
