Michigan's own Luke Winslow-King packed a few bags, grabbed some friends and made the long trek north from his current hometown (New Orleans) this past winter for a brief Midwest tour and was gracious enough to stop by the WIDR studios before his show at The Strutt. The reward for this cross country trip? A sousaphone, drum set, traveling amp and three grown men all crammed into a room that would be considered by some a sizable closet. In spite of the small space the fellas sounded great and the recording came out sounding like a fresh pressed live(ish) CD. I'd tell you more about it, but it'd probably be a lot easier to just download it and enjoy for yourself, no?
