De los istrianos poco puedo decir, son igual que el resto de los croatas pero con más acento italiano.\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv style\u003d\"text-align: justify;\"\u003e\u003cbr /\u003e\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv style\u003d\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eLa ciudad de Pula nos gustó mucho. Bueno, hay que especificar, lo que es la ciudad ciudad, era bastante cutre, pero tenía un bonito casco antiguo lleno de monumentos, un anfiteatro romano la mar de chulo y una gran zona de veraneo y turisteo que nosotros vimos desde el balcón de la casa que alquilamos.\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv style\u003d\"text-align: justify;\"\u003e\u003cbr /\u003e\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv style\u003d\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eA parte del anfiteatro, en Pula hay mucho que ver, aunque a buen ritmo se hace en un día sin problema. Mención especial al bombo que le dan a James Joyce cuando realmente estuvo allí viviendo unos pocos meses. Hay que reconocer que este viaje está dando de sí en cuanto a número de posts. Para los que se quejaban de que sólo ponía contenedores...\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv style\u003d\"text-align: justify;\"\u003e\u003cbr /\u003e\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv style\u003d\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eHoy toca un batiburrillo de visitas turísticas secundarias que hicimos en diferentes días.\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv style\u003d\"text-align: justify;\"\u003e\u003cbr /\u003e\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv style\u003d\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eEl día que fuimos a Mostar por la tarde, paramos en \u003cb\u003eSton\u003c/b\u003e a comer. Famoso por sus ostras, tiene una muralla curiosa y un par de edificios llamativos. Pequeño y bonito, no está mal para visita rápida. Después de comer nos fuimos a \u003cb\u003eMostar\u003c/b\u003e que nos gustó mucho. Merece la pena pasar a Bosnia para ver un poco el contraste. En Mostar sí que había edificios en ruinas sin restaurar tras la guerra algo difícil de ver en los pueblecitos de la costa croata. Creo que cometimos el error de estar casi todo el tiempo en la zona vieja del puente extraturística y sólo ver de pasada el resto de la ciudad que prometía una buena dosis de antiturismo.\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv style\u003d\"text-align: justify;\"\u003e\u003cbr /\u003e\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv style\u003d\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eTras ver Split, al día siguiente cogimos un ferry para ir a la \u003cb\u003eisla de Brac\u003c/b\u003e. Embarcamos el coche, aunque salía bastante caro, para recorrer la isla de punta a punta. No creo que merezca la pena. Alrededor de Split hay muchas cosas para ir a ver, como las ruinas de Salona, los pueblos de Trogir, Sibenik, etc. y también multitud de ferrys para ir a las numerosas islas de alrededor. Nos habían recomendado alojarnos en Trogir que está a media hora de Split y resulta bastante más tranquila, bonita y económica. Siguiendo este consejo buscamos una habitación en Trogir para ir a Split a pasar el día desde allí. La ciudad se fundó a partir del palacio del emperador Diocleciano, un cuadrado de murallas al lado del mar con casas y templos en su interior. Este palacio fue luego reutilizado en la Edad Media como núcleo viejo alrededor del cual creció la ciudad. Por lo tanto las cosas más turísticas se encuentran dentro y cerca de las antiguas murallas del palacio. Especial mención para la catedral que reutilizó el mausoleo de Diocleciano, irónicamente un duro perseguidor del cristianismo, por lo que la catedral tiene una forma bastante extraña para ser una catedral. Si se dispone de más días en la ciudad, Split cuenta con numerosos museos, calles de tiendas y zonas de playas con discotecas. Posiblemente la ciudad más turística de Croacia. Y  se nota. El principal atractivo es la ciudad vieja, totalmente  amurallada. El resto de la ciudad, los alrededores y las playas, es  bastante regulero. Nos quedamos en la zona de Lapad y fuimos a la playa  que aunque era pedregosa y llena de gente, nos sentó de maravilla. De  haberlo sabido nos hubiésemos quedado en algún pueblo cercano, con una  playa más tranquila y hubiésemos ido a Dubrovnik sólo a visitar el casco  antiguo que es lo que realmente merece la pena.\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv style\u003d\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eComo ya comenté,  todas las ciudades y pueblos de la costa dálmata son parecidos.  Amuralladas, casas de piedra, iglesias y monasterios y alguna  fortificación. Dubrovnik es exactamente eso a gran escala. Es bastante  impresionante, aunque a mí me dejó un sabor agridulce. Todo el mundo en  el casco antiguo era, o turista, o trabajaba en el turismo. No había  ambiente de gente real, lo que le daba un aire artificial, como de  parque de atracciones. Como esta ciudad está al sur de Dalmacia y eso eran unas 10 horas de coche, decidimos hacer nuestra primera parada y pasar la primera noche en la bonita ciudad de Zadar, que está a medio camino.\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv style\u003d\"text-align: justify;\"\u003e\u003cbr /\u003e\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv style\u003d\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eAclarar que hicimos el viaje sin reservar alojamiento. Estábamos avisados de que el alquiler de habitaciones era práctica habitual y nos fuimos a la aventura. Esto claro está tiene sus cosas buenas y sus cosas malas, las buenas son que no teníamos que planificar el viaje por adelantado con lo que lo adaptábamos según nos apetecía. Otra cosa buena es el precio. Las cosas malas son que hay que perder un tiempo indeterminado en buscar y preguntar en 3 o 4 sitios como mínimo para encontrar algo decente y a buen precio. Relativamente cerca del centro hay urbanizaciones de casitas y está plagado de carteles de SOBE y APARTAMANI (habitaciones y apartamentos). Preguntamos en varios sitios y al final nos quedamos en casa de una abuela. Hacía tiempo que la teníamos en la lista. Desde Sevilla lo más cerca posible es ir a Treviso, al norte de Italia. Como la idea era alquilar un coche y recorrer el pais de arriba a abajo, pues dicho y hecho. A veces llega a ser agobiante. Cuando estuvimos en Dubrovnik aquello parecía más un parque de atracciones que una ciudad. Este turismo hace dificil encontrar alojamiento y supongo, encarece los precios. Segundo motivo por el que no es recomendable visitar en verano.\u003c/span\u003e\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv style\u003d\"text-align: justify;\"\u003e\u003cspan class\u003d\"st\"\u003e\u003cbr /\u003e\u003c/span\u003e\u003c/div\u003e\u003cdiv style\u003d\"text-align: justify;\"\u003e\u003cspan class\u003d\"st\"\u003e- Las ciudades y pueblos de la costa son todos similares. Núcleos situados en pequeños cabos, normalmente amurallados, con calles estrechas, casas de piedra, iglesias y fortificaciones varias. Muy influenciada por la cocina italiana, en todos lados hay pasta y pizza. El pescado y marisco aparece por doquier. Sin embargo nosotros nos encontramos con precios españoles estándar. Se puede considerar barato si se tiene en cuenta que eran destinos veraniegos y turísticos.
