Si en mi opinión el \u003cb\u003eVal D´Orcia\u003c/b\u003e destaca por su entorno natural, el de Elsa, siendo casi igual de bello, lo que más te impacta es la riqueza monumental y artística de sus pueblos, sobre todo \u003cb\u003eVolterra\u003c/b\u003e y \u003cb\u003eSan Gimignano\u003c/b\u003e.\u003c/span\u003e\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cdiv dir\u003d\"ltr\" style\u003d\"line-height: 1.15; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt;\"\u003e\n\u003cspan style\u003d\"color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 15px; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;\"\u003eNos dirigiremos dirección \u003cb\u003eSiena-Arezzo\u003c/b\u003e, una vez más evitando carreteras principales. Puede parecer pesado cruzar tantas montañas y valles pero, repito, vale la pena hacer camino sin prisa, ir parando e imbuirse así verdaderamente de la región y de lo que ofrece, siempre claro que el GPS haga su trabajo, porque si no incluso con un buen mapa puede ser una odisea en ocasiones. \u003c/span\u003e\u003c/div\u003e\n\u003cbr /\u003e\n\u003cdiv dir\u003d\"ltr\" style\u003d\"line-height: 1.15; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt;\"\u003e\n\u003cspan style\u003d\"color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 15px; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;\"\u003eLa primera parada es \u003cb\u003eVolterra\u003c/b\u003e, sin duda la joya de la región y por supuesto la más visitada junto con \u003cb\u003eSan Gimignano\u003c/b\u003e. De por sí valdría la pena ya el camino. Prácticamente intacta desde el Medioevo, el tiempo parece haberse detenido allí. Dejamos como siempre el coche a las afueras y nos adentramos en sus empedradas calles. Lo primero que nos encontramos es la \u003cb\u003ePiazza dei Priori\u003c/b\u003e y desde ahí iremos disfrutando de su tremenda oferta turísitica: \u003cb\u003eCattedrale\u003c/b\u003e, \u003cb\u003eBattisterio\u003c/b\u003e (con un sistema que proyecta imágenes y montajes de vídeo en su cúpula) y desde ahí por \u003cb\u003eVia Roma\u003c/b\u003e y \u003cb\u003eVia Bueniparenti\u003c/b\u003e nos trasladamos más siglos atrás para contemplar el\u003cb\u003e Teatro Romano \u003c/b\u003e(lugar de conciertos y teatro), \u003cb\u003eAcropoli Etrusca\u003c/b\u003e justo al lado y el \u003cb\u003eParco E.
