Sad story. But sobering. This never happened in college, because for me it was an environment where people knew you and a girl who did this would be held to task (mostly by the gay guys on the dorm hall who loved to nitpick the women).
But I did experience this many times ages 21-26 and agree younger women live to play games. I've read that women live in an entirely different reality than men. This sort of behavior proves it.
There is one other thing I need to add. There's something worse than a flake. It's when you ask out Jekyll and pick up Hyde. What I mean is when a woman is all nice to get you to ask her out, but once you're on the date she transforms into a bitch, sometimes as soon as she opens the door. This one is hard to deal with, but I did once walk off a date halfway through a play. I was quick to anger!
