Any time you see a car with a leftist bumper sticker catch up to it and peer inside to see how "attractive" the occupant is.
Might be true in places where they're a minority.
Around here in Portland they're a significant majority, and thus there's an excellent chance the driver will (filtering down to the female half that I pay attention to in this regard) be quite physically attractive and quite possibly smiling and happy.
It's only when they're a minority that the displays on cars equate to being bitter and sad, I think - when they're in the local majority they're less sad about how everything doesn't go their way.
(Also, when they're the majority, you get more 'just don't know any better yet' members and thus attractiveness should revert to the mean.)
