I disagree with this, I lived in Vancouver BC for 11 years and has the worst rep of anywhere of unfriendly snooty women, people from all over that move there all think the same thing, and then they move. it's even in the papers up there once in a while little local media rags. There were commercials for local breweries in Vancouver that made fun of this. Granville island pale ale ....where they joked around in the commercial how it was illegal for a Vancouver girl to smile.
I now live in Florida and the difference is amazing, they are much nicer down here. Americans in general and much more sociable than western Canadians.
I also lived in California for 2 years, an they were allot nicer than those in Vancouver.There are regional differences. you might not have experienced them but they do exist.American women really aren't that bad.I say this because I have seen much worse
