Whatever, Cap'n, you were an XBox monkey anyways. But I don't think the PS3 was scheduled to hit US shores until Christmas 2006 even if it were to have been released in Japan this Spring. So, no big effect on us Americans. I'm buying a PS3 just to get a Blu-Ray HD-DVD player for hundreds of dollars less than a stand-alone player. The gaming will just be a bonus.
