The great circle from 25-25N 66-25E to 59-38N 163-24E does hit Aldabra, but of course that doesn't "debunk" Pakistan to Kamchatka -- plenty of other possible starting/ending points that miss Aldabra, and some of them miss all the other islands too (far as we know).
