That is very interesting, am wondering do you have an example of doing something similar with the Macbook's battery? For example am I've got an old battery out of an Macbook Pro Mid 2008. Still in working condition and want to utilize its built in microprocessor readings. Temperature charge/discharge status and current cycle etc. I figured once you've removed the casing and have the flat cells in a stack, its quite smallish and would be good for a robot project. And ofc somehow be able to recharge it.
