So many stalwart patriots and people of conscience have been written out of history because some people view them as too radical. But there are times that call for radical measures and the 1770s were such a time. By the way it must be added that in subsequent years the great Bostonian preacher Theodore Parker grandson of the great Lexington patriot John Parker was also downplayed in our history books because of his independent calls for liberty and freedom in his time.
