I cannot believe anyone gives a recently graduated poli-sci student the time of day. A Berkley grad on top of that! Could she be any more cliche?
The article discussing the defense spending cuts drives me nuts. These lefties are pro union, pro manufacturing jobs and want these jobs in the US.... Who do they think makes warships, planes, etc?!?!! The only jobs that HAVE to be done in America by LAW!!
I am no expert, but I believe it is clear there is plenty of room for improvement in our acquisition processes, so if they want to discuss that, I'd be game.
But we have a need for the manufacturing and refurbishing of equipment; jobs which can be .
quickly ranked up.
Of course people like her are likely to dense to understand why it is cheaper to have a standing military with overwhelming force. Too vacant to understand the US military is why a third giant war did not break out in Europe. WWI & WWII were so close, along with a few other conflicts, yet WWIII is still noticeably absent.
