Thanks guys.
My whole purpose for this series (and quite a few other posts) is just to make it simpler to slap down the stupid stuff: By having a place I can point to when it pops up elsewhere I don't have to deal with the limits of a comment thread contriolled by others. Feel free to use it for your own purposes as well. On the 'F-35 Affair', we are rapidly approaching the point in time where all the dipsh**s with low opinions of it are going to have to do one of four things:
1. See the error of their ways and recant (least likely).
2. Change their internet 'handle' and deny their past positions.
3. Build a political 'narrative' around why the F-35 succeeded in spite of all the so-called 'negatives'. (most likely)
4. Pray for a political/economic decision independent of program merit that cuts the number of planes which allows them to cling to their original story(ies) without having to defend it. This may happen in conjunction with #3 for a while.
Note: I recognize there are people who are not dipsh**s who hold anti-JSF opinions, but it is on a purely design philosophy basis - they generally don't post or contribute to stories online denouncing the JSF for imagined or irrational 'flaws'.
