That’s an entirely different question. The Brits accepted our donated arms, then literally deep-sixed them (still perfectly useful arms) when they were done with them. That’s both ungrateful and inexcusable. So asking us if we would send guns to England AGAIN is a case of “fool me twice.”
Now, as far as other European countries go, we’d have to ask ourselves what sort of attitudes do they have with respect to their citizens’ rights? Have they ever pulled anything similar to what Englend pulled, or are they likely to do so given the opportunity?
Sad to say, the answer for almost all European countries is that they would, if given the chance… otherwise, they’d already likely have guns to hand instead of having to borrow them.
