I'm for open records - but I'm for privacy too. I hate to say it but police can be reached by department subpoena and should not have to face the added "perk" of having angry stupid criminal pricks showing up at the house and bothering or surveiling the wife and kids to satisfy their juvenile / Criminal revenge desires

That said, I also believe that the public at large should know where .gov employees live as a check on anonymous authority - in the event things go sparky any .gov employee should FEEL the same insecurity as the general population .........maybe more so. Maybe they should feel like targets
