In his post above, Azmountain troll put his finger smack on something important but often overlooked. We're not Brits. We're not Australians. We're not Canadians. In some defining way we're very different. Where they lined up in neat little queues to turn in their guns when their governments demanded, we ignore demands from ours. I never dreamed of owning a Springfield M1A, till the Clinton administration told me I couldn't have one. It became a "must have." If non compliance in the bluest of the blue states runs at 80%, imagine what it would be in Texas or Idaho.
Remember Chief Brodie dropping his chum scoop and backing up into the Orca and telling Captain Quint, "You're going to need a bigger boat."?
Well, Folks, I think they're going to need a few more SWAT teams.
