Personally I'd PREFER messers Fine, Howard and Howard to the prog bozos actually pushing the research. I envision a perfect union of Murphy's law and the iron law of unintended (and unanticipated) consequences. Somehow I am reminded of Paul Tabori's "The Green Rain". Maybe they'll hold off until we actually EXPERIENCE demonstrable global climate change before trying to ameliorate its effects.
Yeah, I know. Ain't happening. Can't expect progs to actually wait until a problem arises before solving it. Where's the fun in that?
