In a "Fraggle Rock" episode, Uncle "Traveling" Matt is seen sitting at a table in a burger shop with an order of food and a stop watch trying to measure just how fast the "fast food" was. None of the food moved while being watched.
I've made similar observations about my guns. With one exception, I've never seen any of them become violent. That one exception is my US Government surplus M1 Garand. I believe it to be a WWII combat veteran as it certainly has its share of dings. And like is common with the type, it will take a chunk out of your thumb if not handled carefully.
