I don't see any actual quotation marks around what was attributed to Larry, so I'd give him the benefit of a doubt on the "assault weapon" nonsense. It's probably the anti-gun liberal bias of the reporter.
Although, I do think his comments on 18-year-olds is pretty stupid, but he does have the right to refuse to sell to people...
