Don't forget, David, that these are the same nanny-state socialists that unilaterally declared that they would "BAN HANDGUNS" during the last election.
This is just a "Motion" before the House of Commons, and although it is quite likely to pass, given the numbers on the Opposition side, I don't think that this is in any way legally binding on the Government side.
It would, however, be a nice piece of propaganda for them to use against the law abiding and responsible gun owners of Canada...
