Oh great let's give our parks to an authority like we did with the stadium. How's that one working out other than FOC (friends of cloud) getting rich off of bond sale fees.
it is not done yet, the public hearing is the time to show up and voice your concerns

Authority for this, another authority for that. Waste of time and money. Mayor Bronin failed big time by not replacing members of the "Stadium Authority." The very least he should her forced them to resign.

I am in agreement. Another "Authority" is just another waste of taxpayers money. Will West Hartford resident I.Charles Matthews sit on this Authority too? Bring back the Hartford residents as Meter Maids and forget about the Parking Authority.
I agree 100% that Matthews needs to go and a new Board put into place to restore any confidence from the public for the Stadium project. I think the power for that lies more with the Council than the Mayor, but the Mayor could make his voice heard on this issue.
And those tickets given out by the "meter maids" were very rarely collected or followed up on. I think it cost more for salaries and having the tickets printed than what we ever actually collected. I think the Parking Authority has been properly managed and actually returns revenue to the City from its operations instead of losing money like the old process. And people actually pay attention to parking regulations now because they know there are consequences and the violations are enforced

I heard I Charles is the mastermind an the one who stands to make the most money off the stadium deal!!
Anything is possible, he is/was a Hartford politician so nothing would surprise me. If you have any more solid information please let me know. If you know of any paid involvement before the Stadium Authority, that would be helpful also.

A shelter city? Really? Why not a neon sign welcoming degenerates? I'm sure this will encourage business to move in! A+ Plan

Don't elected officials still take an oath of office to uphold the Constitution and the laws of the State of Connecticut? And a Sanctuary City, what else can we give away? we are broke. This is the best we can elect? How about dealing with the problems facing Hartford before we start dealing with this nonsense
