Fantastic HPD. My money says that car will be on the road again tomorrow if not tonight but I also believe HPD will tow it this time. As far as your heading...nope Hartford government is not working. They are simply responding to watch dog folks like you Kevin. Many of Hartford's "leaders" are incapable of doing the right thing when left on their own.

I'm staying hopeful Mayor Sagarra will clean out the criminals, both in Hartford government and on the streets.

Thank you very much for reading my e-mail and addressing that issue at the end of the One Hartford show a couple of weeks ago.

To answer that question: Hell No!!
I'm not sure if Hartford's local city government has ever truly worked for the majority of its residents.

Big props goes out to the HPD officers that pulled Ms. Holloway over with a ticket and also to the city tax collector Mr. Nelson for withholding her paychecks.

If the police had pulled over a man (instead of a woman) with no tags and registration on their car, there's no way they would let him drive it home to his driveway.

Continue to be on the lookout Kevin, because I also have a feeling that Hummer will be back on the road again soon.

I'm not sure how this can happen. I have always held out hope that there was a core of credible and professional city employees to balance out the negative news. While I realize this sounds like a cultural bias, but it seems like every department run by a newly hired hispanic is probably corrupt. Then there are the MHIS, Susan McPerez, Sabina L. Jackson folks that are not political appointees but are beyond corrupt.

And now it seems that HPS cannot handle finding a previously reported SUV the size of a school bus parking in a city lot. I wonder if my Pollyanna view is too far gone.
