Cool, thanks for finishing this up. It's amost exactly what we spec'd at UDS. Saves me the trouble of having to implement it :) I think that it's definitely the route that icons need to go in. Very cool! Thanks again!

Any chance to see symbolic icons in GTK+ 2.21.x? So far they are only part of the 2.90 series.

Patrys: I'm afraid that this is, and will stay, a GNOME/GTK+ 3.x feature, though you can use the symbolic icons now, but without the recolouring.

You can use some HTML tags, such as <b>, <i>, <a>
