Are you sure that the freedreno driver does not support the A203/A205? From a superficial look it seems as if the device is supported in the latest code.

As you wrote your notes are a bit older so I just wanted to make sure if you have any insights (as the free driver really improved a lot within the last year).

fschwarz: Unfortunately, it's still not supported. Every variant is slightly different, and there are other things, such as a panel driver, that would have needed to be written as well.

I work with Rob Clark, and he's been very helpful in answering all my questions, but this device just doesn't work with freedreno, and wouldn't have without a lot of work. Given the age of the device, working on newer versions of the GPU is more interesting, and makes more sense.

I did create a bunch of packages for Fedora though, which should make it easier to support devices with supported GPUs though (adb, xf86-freedreno, etc.).
