Just curious, Steve. Was it your bout with cancer that led you to ditch your previous career and get into the race/culture blogging business? In other words, after a brush with death, you figured that you wanted to do what you were interested in, rather than merely earning a paycheck?

Too bad you can't get Gladwell to send you royalties for using material he finds on your blog.

Hmmm...is Hawks implicitely suggested that dastardly "evil racists" with one of these "diversity of objectives" are going to use these data to further a "frightening" agenda?

Too bad. The overt liberalism of many population geneticists needs to be counter-balanced by the hard-headed race realism of others who can recognize varied consequences of human biodiversity.

Or, do folks like Hawks want genetics to be "taught" in such a manner as to supress a full diversity of ideas?

The concept that ideas can be frightening is not compatible with honest scientific discourse.

Steve,

There's no "Make a Donation" button on your blog screen ... that I can find.

"Fourth: You can use Paypal, but I can't figure out how to get the link to Paypal working at the moment."

If you click on the cc donation link that takes you to Vdare, you're using Paypal. If this is what you mean...

Merry Christmas!

Even Steve's random thoughts are a better use of your time than most of what you PAY to read, so sending Steve something is not charity--it's avoiding stealing.
