Is there a section on rap? It's the latest music style, so it must be the pinnacle of Western music. Right? Right?

Just kidding...I ordered a copy, looks interesting.

Steve, you should include your referrer code in the Amazon link.

Just what I need (as a philistine with no musical training...).

I'm not sure whether you're aware of this or not, Steve, but R.J. Stove's father is the late great philosophical bomb thrower extraordinaire David Stove, about whom you've written in the past. Good sense and good writing, as with other things, run in families.

Kagan for supreme court?

What I L-O-V-E is that there has been (and will be) absolutely no mention in the MSM of the fact that Kagan would be the third Jew on the current Supreme Court. It used to be we had a Jewish court seat. Now a group that accounts for 3% (and shrinking) of America's population is entitled to 33% of the most politically powerful institution in the land. The most economically powerful, The Fed, isn't exactly a model of equal representation either.

But then Elena Kagan is a lesbian, so maybe she would be filling the homosexual seat that Bush I created with his appointment of Souter.
