It's also a big problem in Europe. Many Indian and muslim youths import their partners from their home country.

A very high part of these partners have been 1st cousins. It's especially common in Germany and Britain.

Man, does the fact that a high score on the CPI indicates low levels of perceived corruption ever confuse me. Wonder why they do it that way? I mean, it even caused Steve to say there's an inverse relationship between corruption and consanguinity, a major 'say what?', but of course, he meant between consanguinity and the CPI. But still...
