Hypergamy is a cross cultural! That means its not just a western problem! That means its human nature and we need to speak frankly about it!

I'm willing to vote GOP in 2010. Is the GOP willing to talk about these issues? I guess I shouldn't hold my breath.

Anyhow, this an article about misandry and hypergamy. The most complete I've seen so far:

The crass materialism evident in many East Asian women is rather very disturbing -- despite their ballyhooed reputation for 'serious' relationships.

Female Place of Origin

Apparently Chinese guys don't want country bumpkins (0 points) or jaded women from first-line cities (6 points), who've probably been corrupted by feminism and consumerism. They want something in-between (prefecture-level cities, 10 points), which seems reasonable.

Female Education

"Either third-rate Bachelor’s Degree or Doctorate and above 0 pts." That's harsh. I disagree. Even if her doctorate was in psychology, the kids may inherit some brains.

Female Features/Appearance

"poor skin, features not harmonious (0 pts)" I love it! Swipples always go on about the East's deeply spiritual preoccupation with harmony, and yet here it's used in the most judgmental, "male-chauvinistic", swipple-mocking way possible. The Tao says you're a skank!

"airport + proportionate (4 pts)" What does that mean?

"no such thing as zero points for men’s appearance" He he.

If this isn't a joke (and there is no specific reason to believe it is), then it's wonderful, because it puts in rational form the animal side of life. The animal side is generally irrational and confusing. Candor and graphs are helpful.

No, I see no evidence of female hypergamy here. Every incentive for females is the other way. But males? The only perceived problem on this dimension is ED. LOL.

The Chinese are going to be interesting overlords.

hmm. where is the guy from that thread a few months ago who said the chinese in china do not react positively to europeans looking to date them?

this survey has european men rated the highest, and even puts korean men above chinese men.

the more i learn about interracial dating in the real world, the more i find things like this to be accurate on average. plus the chinese i find, tend to be blunt and loud. their languages reflect this generalized personality trait. loud outburts, especially in hong kong (hongers, i think they call themselves). they could be wishing you happy birthday and it comes out like they are yelling at you to get the F out of the way.

Interesting that they give 10 points if the girls family is a high-toned one. Most guys here I think would prefer the girl to be pretty, nice, have a nice body, firm perky breastesses,a round inviting ass,wit some junk in da trunk, long sexy legs--oh! sorry, got a little carried away there. But guys here would be a bit put off by a girl whose class/socio-econ rank sig. outpaced their own. Theyd figure, rightly.theres a good chance the girl'd wise up and dump your ass.

Believes Mao is "Great Helmsman" (10 points); Chairman of the Communist Party of the People's Republic of China (8 pts); "great proletetarian leader of the proletariate" (6 pts); needs to see a dentist (executed).

Denounces Deng Xiaoping as "major counter-revolutionary" (10 pts); "capitalist roader" (8 pts); "capitalist bicycle rider" (4 pts); "the future" (executed).

Brands America as "paper tiger" (10 pts); "capitalist hellhole" (8 pts); "imperialist oppressor" (6 pts); "Elvis' birthplace" (go to Laogai prison).

Women in poor countries think that way - it's part of survival. Millions starved to death in China within living memory, so it will be a few more decades before Chinese women will be willing to marry a guy for his sense of humor.

With a gender imbalance of 40 million or so, (they admit to 24 million, but it's really much more than that,) the Chinese men don't have any bargaining power to demand so much from prospective brides. They'll be lucky to get any woman at all. Invest early in sexbots for the China market.

If the internet is telling me the truth, China does not have "no-fault" divorce. And the man usually gets custody of the children, who in China are considered the entire point of marriage. So the womans "just dumping your ass" is not as big of a problem as it would be over here.

The absurd American divorce laws are at the bottom of many of our social problems. Scrap no-fault divorce and everyone, men and women, would be better off.

It should be noted that Vietnam and South Korea also have huge gender imbalances of marriage-age males vs. females. So the Chinese can't just import brides from other Asian countries (even if they wanted to, which they probably wouldn't.) Looks like much of East Asia is screwed demographically.

Gender imbalance among the unmarried seems to be a problem in England as well, with single men outnumbering single women in every age group except over 75:

BTW I see that Hispanics/blacks and Indians don't figure much.

If the current trend holds, year 2015 or 2020 will be the first time since, hmm a long time ago, the world wasn't under complete Anglo Saxon control.

We can already see in the modeling world black women are 100% not accepted by Asian customers; black men such as Kobe and LeBron do slightly better as marketers (more alpha than tiny Asian men?).

Whites are generally receptive to diversity as a "in kind" way to pay down the slavery debt. Sailer has accepted this is a debt whites may end up paying down for a very long time. Well to the best of my knowledge, China and Japan don't have a slavery debt to black America.

I wonder how blacks will do, and what will happen to affirmative action, under Chinese ownership. What would a Chinese owner of Proctor and Gamble say if his American managers makes a special consideration for black America and that raises expenses or reduces productivity.

I guess we can look at Toyota, since they've probably hired minority contractors (hopefully not to make gas pedals) and used minorities in the workforce.

"Whites are generally receptive to diversity as a "in kind" way to pay down the slavery debt."

This is just propaganda. If true how do you explain countries like Sweden that have no history of slavery and yet still need to repay this magical "slavery debt" via massive demographic transformation and marginalization of their population blocks. And if this statemement was really true then the middle east would be by far the most diverse place on Earth. There is no such thing as a "slavery debt" - only that which is in your head.

What amazes me is that most people don't even know it was the anglo-saxon middle class that was the biggest driving force behind stopping slavery. Their moral revulsion of slavery along with British war ships is what stopped the evil slave-traders. So what slavery debt? Take away white man's armies and the world will regress to slavery TOMORROW. If you doubt that then you have no eyes. But keep talking about the slavery debt until you are a useless, insignificant minority!

there are enough chinese men in south korea for a seperate category on this form?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overseas_Chinese

there are more in japan, and far more in vietnam and the philippines.

i'm still thinking this form actually means "white guys from europe or the US" and "korean guys from south korea" and "not chinese guys from (wherever)".

koreans are considered much cooler than the chinese or japanese, which makes a lot more sense for why they have their own category on this form, than randomly having a cateogory for the small chinese immigrant population in south korea.

No rating for female/male hair, male physique?

I'm also confused as to how to calibrate the 'male assets'. What currency are all these countless millions in?

Still, I seem to rate 62-64 points (depending on whether my looks are deemed 'average' or 'proper/ correct') even without any financial fortune to speak of. Is that high or low? No idea. It would be interesting to see the scores of an actual population plotted as a normal distribution.

Again, this is more of a generational issue.

The younger generation of Chinese tend to see "mating" in a more westernized way, with love being more important. If you've ever watched East Asian dramas (Taiwanese and Korean are the most popular), a lot of them are about poor boy meets rich girl or vice versa. It is very interesting. Of course my parents don't think like that.

I assumed that too. So a guy being from Korea doesnt mean he's Korean, he's ethnically Chinese born and/or raised in Korea (presumably South).

Top - youre right but the fact the slavery debt is bs doesnt stop it being deployed - against whites - almost everywhere. I suppose its partly the success of propaganda and plays on some innate aspect of Euro mindset.

Its one of the things that make me see more and more the WN pov.

If I claim kinship with the people who invented telephones or penicillin as white people - I'm derided as a supremacist. After all Im not (so far as I know) directly descended from those individuals. But funnily enough I do get to bear the collective burden of responsibility for slavery (and perhaps the holocaust and imperialism etc) regardless of much or little me or my direct ancestors may have been involved.

The high rating for Korean men may be entirely because of the Korean drama Winter Sonata. It was hugely popular in China and Japan. The star, Bae Yong Joon, is worshiped by a certain subset of Japanese women. This is unusual since Koreans are generally looked down upon a lot in Japan.

Exactly. That's why "dating market value" tests for women today are crap. As is all the macho bluster of how women have to "settle" for "beta chumps" when they "age out of attractiveness." Most men these days are lucky to snag a woman of any age/looks combination. The truth hurts, doesn't it?
